摘要: The present invention aims to provide complex fibers comprising a cellulose fiber strongly covered by a lot of inorganic particles on its surface. In the present invention, an excellent complex fiber of a cellulose fiber with inorganic particles can be prepared on the basis of the value of (D50−D10)/D50 calculated from the particle size distribution of (a) or (b) below: (a) the filtrate obtained by filtering an aqueous suspension of the complex fiber at a solids content of 0.1% through a 60-mesh sieve (having an opening of 250 μm); or (b) the fraction corresponding to an effluent volume (L) of 18.51 to 19.50 and an efflux time (sec) of 37.4 to 48.0 when an aqueous suspension of the complex fiber at a solids content of 0.3% is classified using a fiber classification analyzer under the conditions of a flow rate of 5.7 L/min, a water temperature of 25±1° C., and a total effluent volume of 22 L.

摘要: A method of making paper is described. The method includes providing a cellulosic fibrous material, the cellulosic fibrous material comprising a plurality of elongated fibers having a fiber wall surrounding a hollow interior, the fibrous material having moisture content. The method also includes adding calcium bicarbonate solution to the cellulosic fibrous material to form a pulp mixture, the calcium bicarbonate solution containing up to the saturation level of about 16% solids of calcium bicarbonate, the resulting pulp mixture having between 0.1% to 65% total solids by weight. Further, the method includes refining the pulp mixture such that at least some of the calcium ions become associated with the reactive sites in the fiber walls. Further still, the method includes forming a web from the pulp mixture and wet pressing the web.

摘要: The invention discloses a method to enable the efficient use of surfactants in web forming of a cellulose containing material, e.g. in the making of paper or paperboard. The method comprises the addition of microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) or nanocrystalline cellulose (NCC) to the white water in a web-forming process in order to form complexes with surface active agents. The formed complexes are at least partly recycled to the process. This enables the producer to have control over the concentration of surface active agents in the system.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of producing precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) where a retention/strength enhancing chemical is added to milk of lime to form a mixture thereof prior to adding the mixture of the retention/strength enhancing chemical and milk of lime to paper making stock in a pipeline leading to a headbox of a paper making machine, whereafter carbon dioxide is introduced to the paper making stock, and the carbonation reaction between milk of lime and carbon dioxide is allowed to proceed in the presence of both fibers and the retention/strength enhancing chemical.

摘要: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing composite material including natural fiber substance, plastic based substance, and agent improving compatibility between the natural fiber substance and the plastic based substance. The substances are mixed together and mechanically pressing and/or dried with heat to remove liquid. A wet mixture with 41-99.8% water is formed at least from the natural fiber substance, the plastic based substance and the compatibility improving agent, whereby to manufacture the composite material having an internal network structure that keeps material together by chemical bonds between the plastic based substance and the natural fiber substance, the wet mixture is fed to a devolatilization process in which substance in liquid form and other gasifying volatile substances or at least a main part thereof are removed by changes in pressure, heat and mechanical mixing, and the structure of the natural fiber substance is modified if needed.
