摘要: Transmission and configuration of three dimensional digital content is described. In one or more implementations, three-dimensional digital content is received having a three-dimensional mesh of a plurality of vertices. Each vertex includes a definition of a characteristic of the three-dimensional content. The definition of the characteristic is transformed for each vertex from a floating point representation to a fixed point representation. The fixed point representation includes a plurality of values that have different amounts of significance in defining the characteristic, one to another. The plurality of values is indexed of the fixed point representation of the definition of the characteristic. The indexing is based on the different amounts of significance, one to another. Output of the three dimensional digital content is controlled based on the indexed plurality of values.

摘要: Digital content rendering coordination techniques in augmented reality are described. In one example, a user is provided with a first display device via which an augmented reality environment is to be viewed that includes at least a partial view of a physical environment. As part of this physical environment, a second display device (e.g., a desktop monitor, a mobile phone, and so forth) is also viewable by a user through the first display device, i.e., is directly viewable. Techniques are described herein in which a view of digital content on the second display device is coordinated with a display of digital content on the first display device. This may be used to support a variety of usage scenarios to expand and share functionality associated with these different devices.

摘要: Techniques are provided for selectively broadcasting information from a sender's computer to one or more recipient computers in real-time. A user connects to a networked content server and browses selected content items which are determined to be of interest to other collaborators. The user activates a content sharing mode and indicates which content is to be shared. A reference to the shared content is sent to the server which in turn pushes the referenced content to identified content recipients. Content recipients can be identified based on a variety of factors, such as by subscription to a listening channel opened by the content sender, by individual selection by the content sender, and/or by geolocation. The shared content can be automatically displayed to each identified content recipient non-intrusively. Content can be pushed to the content recipients via a persistent open communication channel established between the content server and content recipients.

摘要: This document describes techniques and apparatuses that enable absolute positioning with publishable HTML code. These techniques permit a designer to place objects at absolute positions in a design interface and see how a webpage will actually look in response to that placement. A designer need not publish the design before seeing how it will actually look because the design interface determines and then uses publishable HTML code to present the design, even in real time. Furthermore, in some embodiments, the techniques provide real-time feedback showing parameters of the publishable HTML code, thereby permitting the designer to quickly and easily change the publishable HTML code by altering the shown parameters.

摘要: Digital content search and environmental context techniques and systems are described. The environmental context is leveraged to provide additional information and insight into a likely goal of a textual search query input by a user. In one example, environmental conditions are leveraged to provide a search query context. In another example, environmental conditions are detected to determine a type of object that is disposed in the physical environment of a user. From this, the computing device identifies and launches an application that corresponds to the detected type of object from an image captured of the physical environment. In a further example, the environmental context is used to refine a search in response to user selection of physical objects in a physical environment of the user.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed for removing blemishes from a digital image by detecting pixels containing the blemishes and replacing or blending those pixels with other pixels in the image that have a relatively low probability of containing a blemish. A standard pixel mask includes a user-selected region of the image; an extended mask extends beyond the user-selected region; and a minimal output pixel mask corresponds to the user-selected region. The minimal mask increases the transparency of some regions in the standard mask while maintaining the opacity of the standard mask in the blemish areas. Colors in the extended mask are weighted and clustered, and pixels in the minimal mask are assigned varying shades of transparency as a function of the color frequency. A blemish removal algorithm is applied using the minimal mask, with semi-transparent regions receiving a blend of source and patch pixel colors according to the level of transparency.
