    Abstract: Disclosed is a method performed by a UE device that routes traffic to a 5G Core Network. The method includes receiving a first ATSSS rule including first traffic descriptor information and first steering mode information that identifies a first 3GPP access network operated by a first MNO, and a second ATSSS rule including second traffic descriptor information and second steering mode information that identifies a second 3GPP access network operated by the first MNO or a second MNO; transmitting a first type of traffic corresponding to the first traffic descriptor information included in the first ATSSS rule to the first 3GPP access network operated by the first MNO; and transmitting the first type of traffic or a second type of traffic corresponding to the second traffic descriptor information included in the second ATSSS rule to the second 3GPP access network operated by the first MNO or the second MNO.

    Abstract: A facility operates with respect to a configuration of one or more unmanned aerial vehicles operating as relays between on or more wireless network participant devices and one or more wireless base stations being supported directly or indirectly by a planetary surface. The facility conducts an experiment that yields quality of service results and flight duration results for each of multiple values of a UAV control parameter.     Abstract: Disclosed is a method of operating a Radio Access Network (RAN) including a Radio Unit (RU), a first Distributed Unit (DU), a second DU that functions as a dynamic standby DU, and a network management device. After the RU transmits data to the first DU using a configuration parameter set to an address of the first DU, the RU detects an outage of the first DU. In response to detecting the outage, the RU transmits to the network management device a message indicating detection of the outage. In response, the network management device configures the second DU to perform the functions of the first DU, and causes the second DU to request the RU to set the configuration parameter to an address of the second DU. The RU then uses the configuration parameter set to the address of the second DU to transmit data to the second DU.

    Abstract: A technique is described for converting a variety of video streams from transmission sources into a single designated video stream on a client device. As an example, a converter device may receive video streams from multiple transmission sources and select the video stream to convert and output on a client device based on the signal quality. In some examples, the converter device may switch between transmission sources. The converter device may measure the time offset between the video streams of the transmission sources and buffer one of the video streams to align the timing of the video streams, so the user does not detect a timing delay while viewing the video content.

    Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards providing 5G zero touch traffic management of cells in a network. A target cell associated with a network objective is identified. One or more neighbor cells are also identified. Transmit power and tilt capabilities of the target cell are determined. An interference between the target cell and the one or more neighbor cells is also determined. An electrical antenna tilt adjustment or a transmit power adjustment is determined for the target cell to apply based on the transmit power capabilities, the tilt capabilities, the interference, and the network objective. The determined electrical antenna tilt adjustment or the determined transmit power adjustment are then provided to the target cell. If the network objective is met after the target cell applies the electrical antenna tilt adjustment or the determined transmit power adjustment, then the changes are confirmed, otherwise they are reversed.

    Abstract: Various arrangements for spectrum sharing among a terrestrial network and a non-terrestrial network are presented herein.     Abstract: Embodiments support non-homogeneous distribution of networks slices over a registration area (RA) in a manner that helps to ensure proper signaling of user equipment (UE) re-registration in cases of conditional network slices. For example, an RA is established to include conditional network slices that are available in only a subset of the tracking areas (TAs) of the RA. Each conditional network slice can be associated with a re-registration condition that explicitly or implicitly dictates whether the UE must re-register for that network slice prior to utilizing the network slice and upon entering a TA in the RA where the network slice is supported.
