    Abstract: A fluid handling device includes: a substrate including a first surface and a second surface which are opposite to each other, wherein a first recess which allows fluid to flow therethrough is formed on the first surface; a film including a third surface and a fourth surface which are opposite to each other, wherein at least a pair of second recesses is formed on the third surface; and at least a pair of electrodes whose shape is defined by the second recesses, the electrodes being disposed in the second recesses and configured to apply an electric field to an inside of the first recess, the film being joined to the substrate such that the first surface and the fourth surface face each other.

    Abstract: This optical receptacle is provided with: a first optical surface; a second optical surface; a first recess; a second recess; an inclined surface; insertion holes; through holes; and reference parts. The second optical surface and the inclined surface face each other at inside surfaces of the first recess. The inclined surface is inclined so as to extend away from the second optical surface as the inclined surface approaches an opening of the first recess. First openings which are open at the inclined surface and second openings which are open at an inside surface of the second recess are provided at both ends of the linear insertion holes. The thorough holes face the second openings on the central axes of the insertion holes. The reference parts are provided to the surface at the side at which the first recess and the second recess are open.

    Abstract: This optical receptacle is provided with: an optical receptacle main body provided with a plurality of first optical surfaces and a plurality of second optical surfaces; and an optical filter. Light emitted from a photoelectric conversion element becomes incident on the first optical surfaces. The second optical surfaces allow light which becomes incident on the first optical surfaces, and passes through the inside, to exit towards an end surface of an optical transmission body. The optical filter is disposed so as to face some of the plurality of second optical surfaces, and attenuates the amount of light from the facing second optical surfaces. The optical filter is disposed with respect to at least one of the one or more second optical surfaces facing the optical filter, such that positional deviation between the first optical surfaces and the second optical surfaces is taken into consideration.

    Abstract: This light flux control member comprises an entry surface, a reflective surface, a circular groove containing a first circular surface and a second circular surface, and an exit surface. The circular groove is disposed in such a manner as not to intersect with the optical path of a light from the entry surface to the reflective surface, and, in such a manner as to intersect with at least a portion of the optical path of a light, from being emitted from a point other than the center of the light-emitting element, entering at the entry surface and being reflected at the reflective surface, to reaching the exit surface.     Abstract: This optical receptacle has a first optical surface, a reflection surface, a second optical surface, a light separation part, and a third optical surface. On the first optical surface, light from a photoelectric conversion element is incident. The reflection surface reflects the light incident on the first optical surface. The second optical surface allows the light reflected by the reflection surface to be emitted toward an end surface of an optical transmission body.     Abstract: A plastic helical gear has a three-dimensional tooth surface modification section on a tooth surface of each of involute-shaped teeth. The three-dimensional tooth surface modification section is a combined surface of a tooth top modification surface and an arc crowning surface. The tooth top modification surface is gradually reduced in tooth thickness from a position between a tooth top and a tooth root toward the tooth top. The arc crowning surface is gradually reduced in tooth thickness from a position between one end in the tooth width direction and the other end in the tooth width direction toward both ends in the tooth width direction. A line extending from an intersection point P0 between the starting position of the tooth top modification surface and the apex position of the arc crowning surface to the tooth root is aligned with a line on the tooth surface of the involute-shaped tooth.

    Abstract: A nozzle hole of a nozzle plate is coupled to a fuel injection port of a fuel injection device via a swirl chamber and first and second fuel guide channels opened into the swirl chamber. The swirl chamber is formed by combining first and second elliptical-shaped recessed portions. The first fuel guide channel opens at a side of a short axis of the first elliptical-shaped recessed portion and a side of the short axis that does not overlap with the second elliptical-shaped recessed portion, and the second fuel guide channel opens at a side of a short axis of the second elliptical-shaped recessed portion and a side of the short axis that does not overlap with the first elliptical-shaped recessed portion. The first and second fuel guide channels have depths deeper than those of the swirl chamber and extend inside of the swirl chamber while gradually reducing cross-sectional areas.

    Abstract: Contact pins are provided to a socket main body for accommodating an IC package so as to be in contact with connection terminals of the IC package accommodated in the socket main body. Each contact pin includes a conductive substrate and multiple layers laminated on the surface of the substrate, including: an underlying layer formed on the substrate by Ni plating; a first surface layer formed on the underlying layer by Pd—Ni alloy plating; a second surface layer formed on the first surface layer by Ni plating, thus allowing Sn from the corresponding connection terminal to diffuse into the second surface layer at a rate lower than into a conventional plated Ag layer; and an outermost surface layer formed on the second surface layer by Au plating to serve as an electrical contact layer.
