    摘要: An input position detection device for detecting an input position of an input device, and an entertainment system which can detect the position of a subunit and has a display which displays an image generated by execution of a program loaded into the entertainment system. The entertainment system has a portable game terminal held by the operator. The portable game terminal is equipped with an infrared input/output unit which sends infrared signals corresponding to the commands of the operator to an infrared input/output device which is connected to a monitor device 6. The infrared input/output device and the CCD camera are disposed adjacent each other and point in the direction of the operator holding the portable game terminal. A game machine main unit detects the position of the portable game terminal based on the difference between an input image from the CCD camera taken immediately before the operator, sends an infrared signal from the infrared input/output unit of the portable game terminal toward the infrared input/output device, and the input image at the time that the infrared signal is sent.

    摘要: The present invention provides a display panel that can improve the adhesion strength of a sealing member and that can reduce moisture permeation caused by an alignment film without performing a treatment to remove the alignment film. A display panel according to the present invention is a display panel having a pair of substrates attached to each other via a sealing member. At least one of the pair of substrates has a configuration in which a transparent resin film and an alignment film are laminated. In the display panel, a side face of an edge of the transparent resin film has a reverse tapered shape; the alignment film is separated at the side face of the edge; and the transparent resin film and the sealing member are attached to each other without having the alignment film therebetween.

    摘要: There is provided an information processing apparatus in which a CPU and an audio processing unit are coupled by a bus. The audio processing unit includes a ring buffer that temporarily retains audio data, and performs an input/output process of the audio data. An interrupt signal generator generates a buffer empty signal, when the audio data is output from a buffer in the ring buffer and the buffer is empty, decimates the buffer empty signal in accordance with a sampling frequency of audio, and then feeds the interrupt signal that survives the decimation to the CPU. The CPU, upon receiving the buffer empty signal, issues a DMA transfer instruction for writing the audio data into the empty buffer in the ring buffer.
