Abstract:
The invention relates to the synthesis of a second-generation camptothecin glucuronide prodrug (BQC-G) of a potent anticancer camptothecin derivative 5,6-dihydro-4H-benzo[de]quinoline-camptothecin (BQC). BQC-G was over 4000 times more water soluble than BQC, displayed good stability in human plasma and was an excellent substrate for enzymatic hydrolysis by bacterial and human β-glucuronidases. BQC-G was about 30 times less toxic than BQC, but was as toxic as BQC after hydrolysis of the glucuronide moiety by β-glucuronidase. In the presence of human serum albumin, BQC-G displayed lower cytotoxicity (IC50=1080 nM) but could be activated by β-glucuronidase to display potent activity (IC50=13.3 nM).
Abstract:
Used in an electronic device comprising a cover panel and a base member, a slide cover mounting structure includes two hinges bilaterally mounted on the top wall of the base member, two sliding rail holders respectively connected to the pivot shafts of the hinges, two sliding rails bilaterally mounted on the bottom surface of the cover panel and respectively slidably coupled to a sliding groove on each of the sliding rail holder, two gears pivotally connected between fixed rails on the sliding rail holders, and two gear racks respectively mounted on the cover panel and meshed with the gears. Thus, the cover panel is prohibited from biasing during sliding movement, and turnable about the pivot shafts of the hinges from a horizontal position to a tilted position relative to the base member.
Abstract:
SRAM writing system and related apparatus are provided. The writing system of the invention has a dummy replica writing circuit, a negative pulse controller and at least a normal writing circuit; each normal writing circuit includes a write driver and a negative pulse supplier. While writing, the dummy replica writing circuit drives a dummy replica bit-line, such that the negative pulse controller generates a negative pulse control signal according to level of the dummy replica bit-line. In each writing circuit, when the write driver conducts to connect an associated bit-line to a bias end for driving a level transition, the negative pulse supplier switches the bias end from an operation voltage to a different negative pulse voltage according to the received negative pulse control signal.

The present invention provides a method for forming a multilayer substrate having a gallium nitride layer, wherein a mesh layer having a plurality of openings is formed on a substrate, and a buffer layer, three aluminum gallium nitride layers with different aluminum concentrations and a gallium nitride layer are formed in sequence on the substrate in the openings. The three aluminum gallium nitride layers with different aluminum concentrations are capable of releasing stress, decreasing cracks on the surface of the gallium nitride layer and controlling interior defects, such that the present invention provides a gallium nitride layer with larger area, greater thickness, no cracks and high quality for facilitating the formation of high performance electronic components in comparison with the prior art. The present invention further provides a multilayer substrate having a gallium nitride layer.
Abstract:
A test system includes a testing power supply unit which includes a rectifier and filter circuit and a voltage output circuit, a dropping voltage circuit which includes a primary coil and a secondary coil, a PWM regulator, and a control circuit. The rectifier and filter circuit receives an AC voltage and converts the AC voltage into a square wave signal. The primary coil is connected to the rectifier and filter circuit and receives the square wave signal. The secondary coil is connected to the voltage output circuit. The PWM regulator is connected to the primary coil. The PWM regulator generates a pulse signal to turn on and turn off the primary coil periodically. The control circuit is connected to the PWM regulator. The control circuit controls a duty cycle of the pulse signal to adjust time of the primary coil being on in a cycle.
Abstract:
In a system and method for controlling a virtual keyboard of an electronic device, the virtual keyboard is generated and displayed on a touch screen of the electronic device. The method sets an angle threshold value, a movement amplitude and a movement direction of the virtual keyboard for each tilting angle of the electronic device. When the electronic device is in an edit mode and displays a middle keyboard area of the virtual keyboard, the method records an initial tilting angle and read the tilting angle of the electronic device. The method calibrates the read tilting angle to acquire actual tilting angle according to the initial tilting angle, and confirms the movement amplitude and movement direction of the virtual keyboard according to the actual tilting angle. The virtual keyboard is controlled to move according to the confirmed movement amplitude and towards the confirmed movement direction.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a circuit for controlling a color sequential liquid crystal display (LCD) and a method for controlling the same. The control circuit comprises a light-source driving circuit, a data driving circuit, and a scan driving circuit. The light-source driving circuit produces a driving signal for controlling the color sequential LCD to produce backlight with different colors. The data driving circuit produces a data signal and includes a plurality of data pulses. The scan driving signal produces a scan signal and includes a plurality of scan pulses corresponding to the plurality of data pulses, respectively. By controlling the pluralities of data pulses and scan pulses and the backlight, the color sequential LCD will display an image. The voltage levels of the pluralities of data pulses and scan pulses change according to different images. Thereby, power consumed by the control circuit can be reduced. In addition, color-mixing problems will be reduced according to the present invention.

An auxiliary device for measuring the coaxiality of a lens. The auxiliary device includes a cylindrical main body having a first surface and a flat second surface facing away the first surface, and a protrusion formed on the first surface and defining a reference convex surface. The second surface of the main body defines a position part. The position part is coaxial with the reference convex surface and configured to engage with the lens to measure the coaxiality of the lens.
Abstract:
A vibration testing device to test vibration strength and frequency generated by an electronic device, includes a base, a vibration contact member, a transmission member, and a resilient member attached to the transmission member. The base includes a receiving space to receive the electronic device and a receiving hole in communication with the receiving space. The transmission member extends through the receiving hole and is rigidly attached to the vibration contact member. During testing, the electronic device directly abuts an end portion of the transmission member so that the vibration strength and frequency generated by the electronic device are directly transmitted to the vibration contact member.
