The invention discloses a fast booting method for a mobile communication device. This method is accomplished by dividing a memory module of a mobile communication device into two areas, a virtual identity module storage and a mobile communication data storage. The virtual identity storage can store the set of data of a subscriber identity module as a virtual identity module. By reading the data of a virtual identity module the purpose of fast booting the mobile communication device can be achieved.

An electronic device of an electronic voice dictionary and a method for looking up a word and playing back a pronouncing voice include a key code table in a memory for storing key code values and letters corresponding to key code values, a storage unit containing data signals and voice signals corresponding to each data signal. The data signal and the voice signal correspond to a word or phrase, so that when a keyboard enters into an input signal, a microprocessor searches for the key code table and an audio processing unit searches for the data signal and the voice signal corresponding to a word or a phrase and decodes the voice signal, which is then sent to a voice output section for the playback.

A method for administrating SMS message of mobile phone is disclosed, The method comprises the steps of receiving an SMS message;. analyzing the sender ID; determining whether the sender ID matches with the lists set by the user on the guard function; if the sender ID is matched, the receive/instant-delete function will be check whether it is initiated; if it is initiated, the received SMS message will be deleted instantly without display; if it is not initiated, informing the new SMS message to the user by the vibration of mobile phone and sending the received SMS message directly to the spam SMS message file; if the sender ID is not matched, displaying the received new SMS message. The present invention utilizes a multi-layer type SMS-message guard function to abate various SMS-message nuisances and provides a simple administration interface, easiness of operation, and convenience of receiving for the user.

A method for restoring automatically an original setting in a mobile device is disclosed in which a monitoring module is included, comprising the steps of memorizing a plurality of initial communication settings by the monitoring module when a SIM card is inserted in the mobile device as a spare copy of parameters, examining a plurality of APs parameters stored in the mobile device, comparing the spare copy of parameters and the plurality of APs parameters, and executing automatically an initial setting process on the mobile device and overwriting the plurality of APs parameters stored in the mobile device. As such, the previous basic settings of the mobile device may be rapidly restored in a simple manner and the mobile device may be restored back to a normally state.

The present invention is to provide a method of taking a picture for a camera device by composing images, wherein an image software installed in the camera device provides a plurality of frames each having a plurality of image reserved areas, comprising the steps of running the image software; selecting one of the frame by a user through the image software; enabling the camera device to capture at least one image data record; enabling the camera device to run the image software to locate each of image data records in each of the image reserved areas of the selected frame; and forming a composite picture (e.g., portrait), thus, a user can easily compose a picture prior to taking a picture of same.

A crosshead die for a plastic optical fiber fabrication system is provided. The crosshead die includes a body, an insert, mounting flanges on the upstream and downstream end for securing the crosshead die to adjacent equipment or another crosshead dies, an axial port for receiving a mixed molten material that makes up the core, and a radial port for receiving a mixed molten material that makes up the outer layering material to be co-extruded over the core. The die insert includes a material distribution channel system that provides substantially the same linear distance for the mixed molten material to travel prior to the co-extrusion. If multiple die inserts are utilized, the crosshead die is able to co-extrude multiple layers over the core. If the crosshead dies are serially assembled, additional concentric layers of material can be co-extruded atop the layered plastic optical fiber extruded from the upstream crosshead die.

A current mode logic (CML) flip flop includes a first CML latch and a second CML latch. A plurality of pull-up switches are responsive to a reset signal. Outputs of the first and second CML latches are pulled up to a supply voltage through the pull-up switches. The first CML latch includes a first pull-up isolation switch driven by the reset signal for resetting the latch.

A semiconductor EEPROM device and a method for making it are achieved. The EEPROM device is a novel twin-bit cell structure with adjacent floating gates having a common control gate and common bit-line contact in each cell area. In each cell area a first and second floating gate is formed. Source areas are formed in the substrate adjacent to the outer edges of the floating gates and a drain area is formed between and adjacent to the floating gates. A gate oxide is formed over the floating gates. A control gate is formed over the drain area and patterned to also partially extend over the floating gates. The control gate is also patterned to provide a recess for a bit-line contact to the drain area. The recess results in reduced cell area and the non-critical overlay of the control gate over the floating gates results in relaxed overlay alignment.
