摘要： A liquid crystal display device and a fabricating method having a simplified process are disclosed. The liquid crystal display device compromises, among other features, first and second substrates, a gate line crossing a data line with a gate insulating film therebetween to define a pixel area. A common line is provided on the substrate substantially parallel to the gate line, and a common electrode is extended from the common line into the pixel area. A pixel electrode is extended from a drain electrode into the pixel area to form a horizontal electric field with the common electrode. The data line, a source electrode, a drain electrode and the pixel electrode are formed of a first conductive layer group having at least double conductive layers, and are formed in an area to be sealed by a sealant upon joining the first and second substrates.

A third mask process forms a third mask pattern group including a data line, a source electrode connected to the data line and a drain electrode opposite the source electrode that have a second conductive layer group structure having at least double conductive layers, and a protective film interfacing with the third mask pattern group on the gate insulating film.

A liquid crystal display device, including: a gate line with a multi-layer structure having a transparent first conductive layer and an opaque second conductive layer; a data line crossing the gate line with a gate insulating film in between to define a pixel area; a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line; a pixel electrode formed of the first conductive layer in the pixel area, wherein the second conductive layer remains along an edge of the first conductive layer at an edge of the pixel area; a transmission hole that penetrates from an organic insulating film on the thin film transistor to the gate insulating film to expose the first conductive layer of the pixel electrode; a reflection electrode on the organic insulating film extending along a part of a side surface of the transmission hole to connect the pixel electrode and a drain electrode of the thin film transistor; and a floating electrode on the organic insulating film that overlaps both sides of the data line.

In a liquid crystal display device according to the present invention, a gate line is provided on a substrate. A data line crosses the gate line with having a gate insulating film therebetween to define a pixel area. A thin film transistor includes a gate electrode connected to the gate line, a source electrode connected to the data line, a drain electrode opposed to the source electrode and a semiconductor layer for defining a channel between the source electrode and the drain electrode. A pixel electrode is connected to the drain electrode and is provided at said pixel area. Herein, said data line, said source electrode and said drain electrode have a double-layer structure in which a source/drain metal pattern and a transparent conductive pattern are built. Said pixel electrode is formed by an extension of the transparent conductive pattern of the drain electrode. A protective film makes a border with the transparent conductive pattern and provided at the remaining area thereof.

The present invention has a multi-layer structure configured by helically winding to stack a steel plate core from a bottom layer to a top layer and includes the steel plate core blanked in two rows from an electrical steel sheet to form a pair of bases confronting each other in a width direction and teeth protruding from each of the bases to alternately cross with each other, wherein to prevent an unwinding of the steel plate core in a direction reverse to a rotation of the steel plate core and a loosening between the stacked layers of the steel plate core in helically winding to stack the steel plate core, an engaging protrusion is provided to each upper or lower surface of the teeth of the steel plate core and an engaging recess is provided to each lower or upper surface of the teeth of the steel plate core to correspond to the engaging protrusion, wherein a recess is provided to the base to reduce stress in winding the steel plate core, and wherein both corners of an end of each of the teeth is chamfered straight or round to form a ‘C’ shape to reduce vibration and noise generated by cogging torque on driving a motor.

摘要： Disclosed is an array substrate of an LCD, and a method for fabricating it, which simplifies the fabrication process, thereby reducing fabrication costs. The process is simplified because the array substrate does not have a passivation film. The thin film transistors on the array substrate each have an active layer that is protected from contamination by forming a channel insulation layer on the active layer through a dry-etching process. Further, the gate line, gate pad, and gate electrode may have a two-layer structure having a low-resistance metal layer and a barrier metal layer, or a three-layer structure having a low-resistance metal layer and two barrier metal layers.
