摘要: A zoom lens is provided, in which a fixed first lens group having a positive refracting power, a second lens group having a negative refracting power and which realizes a variable magnification, a fixed third lens group having a positive refracting power and a fourth lens group having a positive refracting power which compensates fluctuation of an image surface caused by the variable magnification and which focuses an image are sequentially provided from an object side. In this zoom lens, the third lens group is composed of two separate lenses of a positive lens (31) and a negative lens (32). At least one surface of the positive lens (31) is formed as an aspherical surface and a surface of the negative lens (32) opposing the image surface side is concaved to the image surface side. Thus, the zoom lens of this invention can be miniaturized and reduced in weight without deteriorating the characteristics such that a variable magnification is large and that an F number is small.

摘要: Provided is a process for producing chlorosulfonyl isocyanate by reacting sulfur trioxide with cyanogen chloride, which comprises feeding sulfur trioxide and cyanogen chloride simultaneously to the reaction zone and maintaining the temperature of the reacting zone at 10.degree. to 50.degree. C. This is a commercially very simple process and can produce chlorosulfonyl isocyanate with high purity in high yield.

摘要: A covered balloon for use as a toy or in a display, which includes a cover formed of a plastic film and a rubber balloon inside the cover. More specifically, the cover is formed of two superposed sheets of substantially gas impervious plastic film whose peripheral edges are welded to form a seam. In a one embodiment, the cover and the rubber balloon each have a nozzle and the rubber balloon is inflated so as to fill the entire space within the cover and eliminate any wrinkles in the cover and adhere to an interior surface of said cover with the nozzle of the rubber balloon protruding from the cover through the nozzle of the cover. A welding flap formed along the seam when the cover is formed by welding together the plastic sheets, may be substantially reduced in size by cutting the flap along the seam. The cover may be formed of a transparent film such as a film of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymers so that the rubber balloon inside is visible. According to another embodiment, the rubber balloon fills only a portion of the space within the cover, the remainder being inflated with a gas.

摘要: Internal combustion engines to increase the engine output without altering the cylinder capacity, and comprising liquid injection valves (26, 46) by which fixed quantities of prescribed liquids are injected into combustion chambers (14a, 14b), timed to the detonation process in the internal combustion engine, and heating means by which the liquids injected from the liquid injection valves (26, 46) are heated beforehand to a predetermined high temperature by utilizing the intense heat generating around and nearby said combustion chambers (14a, 14b), so that the device enables effective utilization of heat energy generating around and nearby cylinders as well as increasing the engine output by the sudden expansion of the liquid injected into the combustion chamber pressing the piston therein with a powerful downward stroke.

摘要: A process for dehydrating water-containing organic solid material which comprises steps of introducing the material into a pressure vessel, applying saturated steam to said vessel to heat the material so that water in the material be removed and mixed with condensate of the steam to be exhausted from the vessel as a waste water. The process is characterized by a step of charging material of relatively large particle size at a bottom portion of the vessel and of relatively small particle size on the material of large particle size. The process makes it possible to dehydrate relatively fine particles of material by utilizing liquid form dehydration phenomemon.
