    摘要: Lancing system comprising a needle and a lancing device The lancing device comprises a housing with a housing opening that is surrounded by a housing skin contact surface. A lancing depth reference element with a reference skin contact surface is adapted in such a manner that the reference skin contact surface at a reversal point of the lancing movement is in contact with the skin. The lancing depth is determined by the distance between the reference skin contact surface and the tip of the needle element at the reversal point of the lancing movement. The lancing depth reference element is in a stationary defined position relative to the reversal point of the lancing movement. The lancing depth reference element is adapted to stabilize the skin when pressed against the reference skin contact surface with respect to a skin deformation which occurs upon lancing of the skin.

    摘要: A test element comprises a puncture element and a test pane. The puncture element has a tip for generating a wound and a capillary structure. The capillary structure extends from the tip to the test panel and has a fluid connection to the tip configured to allow body fluid to penetrate into the capillary structure. The test panel contains at least a part of the reagent system and is positioned in the test element adjacent to a part of the capillary structure of the puncture element in such a manner that body fluid penetrating into the capillary structure contacts a liquid entry side of the test panel. The test panel comprises a transparent support layer and a test layer applied to the support layer by coating, the side of the test panel facing away from the support layer forming its liquid entry side, which faces toward the capillary structure.

    摘要: Analysis system for automatically performing a skin prick analysis by pricking the skin for producing a sample of body liquid and detecting an analyte contained in the sample. The analysis system comprises a magazine with a plurality of compartments each containing a lancing element and an analysis element, and a reusable hand-held instrument having a drive assembly. The drive assembly is adapted for driving at least the following movements by manually generated mechanical force: a coupling movement by which one of the lancing elements is coupled to the drive assembly; a puncturing and sample collection movement of one of the lancing elements contained in the magazine and coupled to the drive assembly; and a remaganizing movement by which the test element is transported back into the compartment of the magazine.

    摘要: An actuator for driving a test element is disclosed. The test element can comprise a lancet for perforating the skin of a living organism. The actuator can comprise an engaging part for engaging and driving the test element in a lancing motion. The actuator can further comprise a lancing actuator and a lancing spring. The lancing actuator can bias the lancing spring by executing a forward movement and thereby can exert a biasing force on the engaging part. The actuator can further comprise a latch element. The latch element can be a force-sensitive latch element for exerting a retention force to hold back the engaging part. The retention force can counteract the biasing force. The latch element can release the engaging part when the biasing force exerted by the lancing actuator exceeds the retention force exerted by the latch element, thereby allowing the test element to perform the lancing motion.
