    摘要: In a power supply system, a controller is electrically connected with a plurality of switching elements of a multiphase inverter. The controller switches the plurality of switching elements on and off during a multiphase motor being activated. This converts a voltage of a first power storage device into a multiphase AC voltage so as to supply the multiphase AC voltage to the multiphase motor. This also boosts a voltage of a second power storage device to charge the first power storage device by the boosted voltage via multiphase windings of the motor. The controller switches the plurality of switching elements on and off during the multiphase motor being inactivated to thereby boost the voltage of the second power storage device to charge the first power storage device by the boosted voltage.

    摘要: A vehicle-mounted power supply system comprises a first storage battery, an automotive generator for generating electrical energy and charging the first storage battery with the generated electrical energy. A second storage battery is connected to an electrical load and a power converter supplies electric energy from the first storage battery to the second storage battery. A controller, or battery-monitoring unit, sets the power converter in a sleep mode when the vehicle engine is stopped, periodically detects the voltage of the second storage battery as a pseudo-open circuit voltage during the sleep mode of the power converter if current of the second storage battery is within a predetermined range, estimates a state of charge of the second storage battery from the detected pseudo-open circuit voltage and sets the power converter in a run mode when the estimated state of charge is lower than a predetermined value.

    摘要: A brake system for a vehicle includes an electrically operated parking brake drive device which generates an operating force for operating the wheel brakes or dedicated parking brakes in response to energization, and which operates even upon cancellation of the energization while in the operated state. A braking force related amount detector detects a physical quantity related to a braking force exhibited by each of the hydraulic pressure operated wheel brakes. When a detected physical quantity exceeds a reference value in a stopped state of the vehicle, a controller energizes the electrically operated parking brake drive device. Thus, the frequency of operation of the electrically operated parking brake drive device is decreased while eliminating inconvenient operations required to operate the electrically operated parking brake drive device, thereby reducing noise and improving durability.

    摘要: In a vehicle-mounted power supply system, the automotive generator generates a voltage for charging a first battery. Power conversion circuitry is connected between the first battery and a second battery that is connected to an electrical load to operate in a first mode or in a second mode when power consumption of the load is lower or higher than a specified value, respectively. In the first mode, the power conversion circuitry maintains the voltage at the second battery at a substantially constant level and in the second mode, the voltage at the second battery varies with the voltage at the first battery. In response to a vehicle speed variation, the automotive generator is controlled so that its output voltage is varied at a first rate when power conversion is performed in the first mode and varied at a second rate lower than the first rate when power conversion is performed in the second mode.

    摘要: In a power generator, a start of rotor rotation is detected by utilizing a small AC voltage in a stator winding generated by a remaining magnetic flux. A leak current which flows to the power generator from a battery is passed to a negative terminal of the battery through a resistor temporarily connected in series so that a small amplitude of the AC voltage will not be masked by DC drifting component arising from the leak current. Further, periodically connecting the resistor to the negative terminal upon an increase in the leak current reduces an amplitude of the AC voltage.
