Abstract: Techniques for providing cooperative communication via multicast communications are disclosed. An example apparatus comprises a memory and processing circuitry coupled to the memory. The processing circuitry is configured to generate a multicast group address based, at least in part, on a geographical region of the apparatus, and broadcast the multicast group address to allow cooperative communication enabled devices to join a multicast group corresponding to the multicast group address. The apparatus is also configured to receive requests from the cooperative communication enabled devices to join the multicast group. The apparatus is also configured to transmit messages to the multicast group via multicast communications.

Abstract: Generally discussed herein are systems, devices, and methods for data management in a reverse content data network (rCDN). A component of the rCDN may include a memory to hold content received from a first sensor device of a plurality of sensor devices of the rCDN and first attributes that describe properties of the content. The component may include processing circuitry to receive second content from a second sensor device of the plurality of sensor devices, the second content including a plurality of second attributes that describe properties of the second content, and forward, in response to a determination, based on the first and second attributes, that there is insufficient space to store the second content on the memory, the second content to a node of the rCDN that is fewer hops away from a backend cloud than the component.

Abstract: Apparatuses, storage media and methods associated with cognitive robot systems, such as ADAS for CAD vehicles, are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes emotional circuitry to receive stimuli for a robot integrally having the robotic system, process the received stimuli to identify potential adversities, and output information describing the identified potential adversities; and thinking circuitry to receive the information describing the identified potential adversities, process the received information describing the identified potential adversities to determine respective fear levels for the identified potential adversities in view of a current context of the robot, and generate commands to the robot to respond to the identified potential adversities, based at least in part on the determined fear levels for the identified potential adversities. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

A component of an ICN can include a memory including an extended content store that includes content from at least one other component of the ICN, and first attributes of the content, the first attributes including a content popularity value that indicates a number of requests for the content, and processing circuitry to increment the content popularity value in response to a transmission of a first content packet that includes the content, the first content packet transmitted in response to receiving an interest packet.

Abstract: A system to monitor and control sensor devices. A system in an operational environment may act as a gateway for at least one sensor device in the operational environment. In acting as a gateway the system may provide presentation data regarding the at least one sensor device to, and may receive commands from, at least one client device. Interaction between the gateway device and the at least one client device may be configured through interaction with access coordination resources (ACR). In push mode the gateway device may generate a notification when sensor data is determined to satisfy a condition. In pull mode the gateway system may receive commands from the at least one client device to cause the gateway system to generate/provide the presentation data to the at least one client device, provide instructions and/or data to the at least one sensor device, etc.

Abstract: System and techniques for a multi-class Long Range Lower Power (LRLP) access point (AP) multifactor intelligent agent control are described herein. A station (STA) association at the AP is received. Here, the association includes Class Identifier (ID) information. The Class ID information encompasses a set of communication parameters. A schedule of LRLP and non-LRLP STAs with associations at the AP is maintained. A transceiver chain is modified based on the schedule and the set of communication parameters to complete a communication with the STA.
