    摘要: A screw fluid machine includes a screw-shaped male rotor having formed helically therearound teeth and a screw-shaped female rotor having formed helically therearound grooves. The female rotor is engaged with the male rotor. A housing accommodates therein the male and female rotors. A working chamber is defined by the housing and the male and female rotors. Lead angles of the teeth and the grooves decrease from an inlet toward an outlet. An outline of each tooth includes a pair of first arc portions whose arc center is located on a pitch circle of the male rotor, and a second arc portion provided between the first arc portions. An outline of each groove includes a pair of third arc portions corresponding with the first arc portions, and a fourth arc portion substantially corresponding with the second arc portion.

    摘要: A control rod for a nuclear reactor has a structure which is capable of suppressing expansion of a reduced-diameter portion of a neutron absorber in a radial direction under shocks applied upon every stepwise driving of a control rod cluster and which can ensure integrity of a cladding tube over an extended period. The control rod includes a cladding tube closed hermetically at both ends thereof by a top end plug and a bottom end plug, respectively, a neutron absorber loaded into the cladding tube and includes a reduced-diameter portion having a smaller diameter than the other portion, the reduced-diameter portion being disposed at the bottom end plug side of the control rod, and a hold-down spring for pressing the neutron absorber downwardly against the bottom end plug. A sleeve is disposed within an annular space defined between an outer peripheral surface of the reduced-diameter portion and an inner peripheral surface of the cladding tube.

    摘要: The flow control valve used in a variable displacement refrigerant compressor, which is incorporated in a refrigerating system, and arranged in a controlling passage fluidly interconnecting between a crank chamber and a discharge chamber or a suction chamber to regulate an opening formed in a predetermined portion of the controlling passage in a control characteristics in which when the discharge pressure of the refrigerant discharged from a discharge chamber of the compressor increases, the suction pressure of the refrigerant entering from the refrigerating system into a suction chamber increases. The flow control valve has a pressure sensing member for sensing of one of the suction and the crank-chamber pressure, and a valve element movable to increase and reduce the opening of the predetermined portion of the controlling passage on the basis of sensing of one of the suction and crank-chamber pressures by the pressure-sensing member.
