Abstract:
An electronic camera includes: an image capturing device that performs photoelectric conversion on a subject image formed by a photographic optical system and outputs image data; an image display device that displays an image based upon the image data; a first storage device achieving a first access speed; a second storage device achieving a second access speed lower than the first access speed; and a control device that, if image data for display are present in the first storage device when an image reproduction mode for displaying the image based upon the image data at the image display device is set, displays an image based upon the image data in the first storage device at the image display device, and if the image data for display are not present in the first storage device, displays an image based upon image data in the second storage device at the image display device.
Abstract:
An electronic camera includes: an image-capturing unit that creates an image by capturing an image of a subject; an enlarged image generating unit that creates an enlarged image by enlarging a portion of the image created by the image-capturing unit; an optical viewfinder that enables verification of a subject range corresponding to a range of the image created by the image-capturing unit; and a warning output unit that issues a warning when the enlarged image generating unit is in operation.

Abstract:
A film picture image viewing apparatus minimizes the effects of noise by prohibiting operation of an illumination device whenever a reading or a playback device is operated. The film picture image viewing apparatus includes a support substrate. The illumination device includes a discharge tube and a reflector. The discharge tube provides light when energized. The reflector is anchored to the support substrate and has a pair of oppositely-disposed ends with a receiving hole formed in each end. Each of the receiving holes is sized to receive the discharge tube in a manner to minimize thermal conduction from the discharge tube to the reflector after the discharge tube becomes energized.
Abstract:
An image file editing apparatus comprises a media drive device for performing writing and reading of image files on a recording medium that is removably installed from outside, a list display device for displaying a list of image files on the recording medium, a file selecting device for selecting among the displayed list of the image files in accordance with an external operation, and an editing device for performing a predetermined editing operation on an image file or files that is/are selected. In response to an instruction from outside to eject the recording medium, a temporary storage device of the apparatus stores the selected image file(s), and a media ejecting device then ejects the recording medium after completion of storing to the temporary storage device. An editing operation can be performed on the image file(s) stored in the temporary storage device from the ejected recording medium and an image file or files selected by the file selecting device from a subsequently installed recording medium.
Abstract:
A film image signal generation apparatus according to the present invention, includes: a film displacement device which displaces a developed film, which is first in a film cartridge, to an image area; an image signal conversion device which converts an image of a film frame, which is opposed to the image area, into a first image signal; a control information storage circuit which stores control information which specifies at least an order for film frame display; a display information storage circuit which stores display information related to the film frame display as a second image signal; and a control circuit which controls the film displacement device, the image signal conversion device, and the display information storage circuit so as selectively to output either the first image signal or the second image signal according to the control information stored in the control information storage circuit.
Abstract:
A film image processing apparatus comprises an image pickup device that picks up a photographic image formed on developed film, a screen image signal output device that outputs a screen image signal to display the image that has been picked up on a monitor screen as a screen image, a reading device that reads information related to the photographic image from an information recording area provided on the film, an input device that inputs external information from an external device connected to the film image processing apparatus, a display device that outputs a display signal to display text information related to the photographic image on the monitor screen and a control device that controls the display device so that at least either the read information read by the reading device or the external information input from the external device is displayed on the monitor screen as text information together with a screen image of the photographic image corresponding to the information.
Abstract:
An information recording apparatus according to the present invention includes: a feeding unit which feeds a film in a film cartridge, a reading device for reading information about each frame of the film. The information is stored in an external storage unit. A recording unit records information on a recording region corresponding to each frame of the film; and a recording control device controls the feeding unit so as to feed the film and controls the recording unit so as to, in synchronization with feeding of the film, record the information about each frame read by the reading device on the corresponding recording region of each frame of the film.
Abstract:
A film feeding cessation adjusting device for cameras is capable of accurately stopping to a predetermined stopping position each frame of a film having a minimum number of perforations in order to ensure a sufficient data recording area. The film feeding cessation adjusting device includes a film feeding device for feeding a film, a perforation detection device for detecting a perforation of the film, a timer device for measuring a time required for film feeding, a stopping signal generating device for obtaining a time which is delayed by a predetermined period from the time at which the perforation detection device detects the perforation, on the basis of the results of the measurement of the timer device and for generating a feeding stopping signal at the obtained time, and a control device for stopping film feeding of the film feeding device when it receives the feeding stopping signal.
Abstract:
A camera has a recording apparatus for magnetically recording finished photograph information, indicating exposure of a film frame, and for magnetically recording other photograph information for each film frame. The finished photograph information is recorded at a designated film area, while a film feed motor is in a transient speed state. Other photograph information is recorded in a designated film area when the film feed motor speed is constant. Appropriate positioning of the designated recording areas for recording information therein is determined by counting film perforations or by measuring a period of time during film feed subsequent to an exposure.
