Abstract:
Provided is a method for a terminal to report mobility state information in a wireless communication system. The method comprises estimating a mobility state, grouping the estimated mobility state in order to calculate a mobility group state, and reporting mobility state information relating to the mobility group state to a network.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for controlling uplink transmissions on Discontinuous reception (DRX) operation are provided. A wireless device chooses that a Channel Quality Indicator (CQI)/Precoding Matrix Index (PMI)/Rank Indicator (RI)/Precoding Type Indicator (PTI) on a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) are not reported at a subframe n if an onDurationTimer is determined to be not active at the sub-frame n. An uncertainty about the uplink control information during the On Duration occurred by previous DRX operation can be resolved.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of measuring a packet throughput using a timer in a wireless communication system are provided. When determining a reference time for estimating packet throughput, a receiver determines the time that a data burst starts or ends using a timer in order to estimate the packet throughput considering a change in the data burst of the transmitter buffer. A measurement period is defined through the determined start time and end time of the data burst by the timer, and packet throughput is measured considering the total amount of the received data burst. The throughput of packet data may be estimated by each base station based on the same standard rule, so that the measured packet throughput values may be reliable, thus allowing the operator to make use of it as a parameter for MDT.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for transmitting, to a second UE, a first MAC PDU (Medium Access Control Protocol Data Unit) including a first Identity (ID) of the first UE; receiving, from the second UE, a second MAC PDU including a second ID; checking whether the second ID is same as the first ID or not; generating a third ID of the first UE if the second ID is same as the first ID and transmitting, to the second UE, a third MAC PDU including the third ID of the first UE.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of establishing a connection in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives first barring information for member UEs and second barring information for non-member UEs, determines whether the UE is able to access to a cell or not based on one of the first barring information and the second barring information according to whether the UE is either a member UE or a non-member UE, and transmits an access request if it is determined that the UE is able to access to the cell.
Abstract:
A method in which a first communication module of a terminal transmits channel measurement information to a base station in a wireless communication system and a device therefor are disclosed in the present invention. Specifically, the method comprises the steps of: receiving a message indicating an operation start of at least one second communication module coexisting in the terminal from the second communication module; determining an unusable frequency due to in-device coexistence (IDC) interference on the basis of information on an operating frequency of the first communication module and an operating frequency of the second communication module; and transmitting an IDC interference indication message including channel measurement information corresponding to the determined unusable frequency to the base station.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, provided is a method for user equipment reporting information based on location estimation in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: transmitting to a network an estimation result from a specific point in time; obtaining information based on a first location estimation from a first point in time; transmitting to the network the information based on the first location estimation; obtaining information based on a second location estimation from a second point in time; and transmitting to the network the information based on the second location estimation. A location related to the estimation result is estimated by the network on the basis of the information based on the first location estimation and the information based on the second location estimation.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for delaying transmission of at least one of a buffer status report (BSR) and a power headroom report (PHR) in a wireless communication system. A user equipment (UE) triggers at least one of a BSR and a PHR, but delays transmission of the at least one of the BSR and the PHR to a base station if uplink (UL) transmission is not available. In this case, the UE may not trigger a scheduling request (SR).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to MAC layer communication for parallel random access procedures of dual connectivity. In this scheme, a first MAC entity of a user equipment informs the initiation of the first random access procedure to a second MAC entity of the UE; and informs the completion of the first random access procedure to the second MAC entity, when the first random access procedure is finished
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, a method and device for performing network connection are disclosed herein. The method of a user equipment for performing network connection in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention may include the steps of receiving information on a network connection for a second type service from a first base station providing a first type service in the user equipment; based upon information on the network connection, deciding whether or not the network connection is permitted and deciding a target of the network connection; and, when the network connection is authorized, transmitting a network connection request message to the target of the network connection.
