    摘要： The present invention discloses a video player, comprising a decoding and control unit for outputting decoded video and audio signals; a storing unit for storing an application software capable of working without starting a computer operation system; a video processing unit for processing decoded video signals outputted by the decoding and control unit; an audio processing unit for processing decoded audio signals outputted by the decoding and control unit; an Optical disc driver's multi-use control circuit for multi-use controlling a DVD Optical disc driver of the computer; and a switch unit for switching the video processing unit and the audio processing unit to be coupled to the display and the sound box after monitoring a shut-off signal of the computer, and in the meantime switching two outputs of DC power to the video player. In the present invention, by using a unique switch unit to process switching by monitoring the shut-off signal, hardware sources of a PC can be abundantly in use to make video of multimedia products play without turning on the PC, therefore avoids adding new operation program.

    摘要： A portable infusion monitoring system detects the liquid level and flow rate during infusion process, as well as gives an alarm for patents and nurses in hospital as the medical liquid in an IV bottle drops to a predetermined low level. This system comprises a set of liquid level sensor, a microprocessor, and a monitor terminal. The liquid level sensor generates an electric signal related to the liquid level inside the IV bottle. The microprocessor statistically analyzes the electric parameters detected from the electric signal, and obtains the liquid level data including both the liquid level and liquid flow rate. The liquid level data are sent to the monitor terminal for display, and an alarm is activated when the medical liquid inside the IV bottle drops to a predetermined low lever. Further functions of the monitor terminal includes an automatic switch to cut off the IV feeding process and send the alarm signal to a nurse station through signal network by wire or wirelessly. Several interference filtering methods are applied to increase signal/noise ratio, and therefore warrant the operation reliability.

    摘要： A method and system to display a targeted online advertisement to a targeted online user based on offline behavior profiles. The method include techniques for identifying offline behavior aspects of the online user through a variety of databases, including databases of physical sites visited, databases of transactions and amounts, databases pertaining to retail loyalty cards and databases hosting occurrence of real world events. Techniques employed for codifying offline behavior include classifying behavior into categories or groups, categorizing behavior by location of an event, size of expenditure, nature of event, frequency of event, and/or periodicity of event. Having established some codified offline behavior of the online user, the system proceeds by correlating some aspect of user's offline behavior to some aspect of an online advertisement. Given the correlation between the user's offline behavior and the targeting characteristics of the advertisement, the advertisement is optionally customized and displayed to the targeted user.
