Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a non-terrestrial network (NTN) entity, a message that is associated with an uplink grant. The UE may select, based at least in part on the message, either a cell-specific offset or an updated offset that is indicated after initial access, as a timing offset that accounts for a propagation delay between a base station of the NTN and the UE. The UE may transmit, to the NTN entity, an uplink communication using the timing offset. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for providing feedback. For example, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, a configuration of a search space comprising time and frequency resources available to the network node for communicating a downlink control channel, the configuration indicating a feedback process type corresponding to the search space. The UE may also receive, from the network node, the downlink control channel in the search space. The UE may also receive a downlink transmission scheduled by the downlink control channel. The UE may selectively provide feedback to the network node regarding decoding of the downlink transmission according to the feedback process type corresponding to the search space.

An example method may include receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission from a network entity, the PDSCH transmission comprising a set of radio resource control (RRC) messages, each RRC message in the set of RRC messages comprises a respective group handover configuration in a set of group handover configurations associated with a respective UE in a set of UEs including the UE, the set of RRC messages being included in a set of medium access control (MAC) service data units (SDUs) (MAC SDUs) in a MAC protocol data unit (PDU). The example method may further include processing a first subset of the MAC SDUs that are associated with the UE and discard a second subset the MAC SDUs that are not applicable to the UE.

Abstract: In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes operating, by a user equipment (UE), in a network with fixed radio cells. The method also includes determining, by the UE, a plurality of potential satellites for selecting a first cell to camp on, the first cell associated with a first satellite. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which UEs may communicate with satellites or base stations, or both in a non-terrestrial network. Due to large distances between transmitting devices and receiving devices in a non-terrestrial network, the UE may account for propagation delay and frequency shift of communications with a satellite based on location information of the satellite. The UE may receive first satellite location information from a base station or a satellite, via a broadcast message. The UE may receive second satellite location information from the wireless network node via a unicast message, where both the first satellite location information and the second satellite location information relate to a same satellite. The UE may transmit an uplink communication via the satellite based on at least one of the first satellite location information or the second satellite location information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support non-terrestrial network (NTN) signaling between both terrestrial and non-terrestrial devices. A user equipment (UE) supporting such NTN signaling may receive a downlink message indicating a first configuration for a first transmission reception point corresponding to a first cell of the NTN, and a second configuration for a second transmission reception point corresponding to a second cell of the NTN. The UE may then perform one or more synchronization measurements to synchronize uplink communications with the first transmission reception point and the second transmission reception point and in order to perform multi-transmission reception point communications in the NTN. The UE may then transmit one or more uplink messages to the first transmission reception point, to the second transmission reception point, or both, in accordance with the one or more synchronization measurements.

The base station may initiate communications with the UE based on the broadcast signaling including the indication of the terrestrial characteristic of the cell.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for establishing rules for scheduling downlink data transmissions and flow control feedback for the downlink data transmissions to avoid confusion at a base station and a user equipment (UE). In one example, when flow control feedback from a UE is disabled for a downlink data transmission, the UE may still operate according to a timing for reporting flow control feedback for the downlink data transmission. In this example, the UE may drop (e.g., refrain from decoding) other downlink data transmissions based on the timing for reporting flow control feedback. In another example, when flow control feedback from a UE is disabled for a downlink data transmission, other downlink data transmissions to the UE may be scheduled according to one or more rules to avoid confusion.
