Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may measure a signal, transmitted by a base station, using a set of candidate beams. The UE may communicate, with the base station based at least in part on the measurement of the signal, using a first beam from the set of candidate beams. The UE may determine to switch the first beam based on a first value for a beam parameter associated with a second beam, from the set of candidate beams, satisfying a condition. The UE may measure, based at least in part on the determination to switch the first beam, the second beam to obtain a second value of the beam parameter. The UE may switch the first beam to the second beam if the second value satisfies a condition. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: According to embodiments, an example method for determining an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) output timing in a user equipment may include operating a switch in a first mode to route a system clock from an oscillator to an input of the ADC and determining a first ADC output timing based on a first set of ADC samples generated by the ADC. The method may also include operating the switch in a second mode to route analog signals from a transceiver of the user equipment to the input of the ADC and obtaining a second set of ADC samples generated by the ADC based on the analog signals.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive a downlink transmission from a first cell, where the downlink transmission includes information for performing one or more actions associated with a second cell. The UE may identify a satisfaction of a trigger condition associated with one or more parameters at the UE based on a power level of the UE being less than or equal to a threshold power level, a throughput at the UE being less than or equal to a threshold throughput, or both. The UE may additionally identify at least one bandwidth associated with the second cell based on a previous wireless connection. The UE may compare, the at least one bandwidth associated with the second cell with a threshold bandwidth. The UE may then perform at least one action associated with a procedure based on the comparing.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) is presented. The UE may include one or more antennas which are shared between a first network connection and a second network connection in a dual connectivity mode. The method includes reporting a first sounding reference signal (SRS) antenna-switching capability to a base station. The method also includes transmitting an SRS to the base station via a second SRS antenna-switching capability when the first network connection has priority over the second network connection, where the second SRS antenna-switching capability is reduced with respect to the first SRS antenna-switching capability.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes various examples of a method, an apparatus, and a computer readable medium for multi-state discontinuous reception (DRX) in wireless communications. For example, one of the methods described may include identifying, by a user equipment (UE), at least two states in connected mode, determining, by the UE, one or more triggers for transitioning between the at least two states, and transitioning, by the UE, from a first state of the at least two states to a second state of the at least two states in response to a determination of the one or more triggers. In an aspect, the transitioning comprises transitioning between cross-slot scheduling and same-slot scheduling, or between a narrow bandwidth and a wide bandwidth, or between a larger periodicity and a smaller periodicity for monitoring.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may implement cross-carrier scheduling. A user equipment (UE) may identify a minimum scheduling delay and may receive a downlink grant on a first CC. The UE may further identify the slot in which a downlink data transmission corresponding to the downlink grant will be received, and may identify the slot such that the minimum scheduling delay is satisfied. The UE may the receive the downlink data transmission, as indicated in the downlink grant, in the identified slot. In some examples, the UE and the base station may alternate between a long minimum scheduling delay and a short minimum scheduling delay. In some examples, the UE and the base station may alternate between a cross-carrier mode, and a self-scheduling mode.
