    摘要: The present invention relates to a new process for the partial carbodiimidization of the isocyanate groups of organic mono-, or di- and/or polyisocyanates, the mixtures which can be obtained by this process and the use of these mixtures as isocyanate components in the production of polyurethane plastics by the known isocyanate polyaddition process. In general, the process comprises:(a) mixing organic mono-, di- and/or polyisocyanates with 0.1 to 100 ppm of a phosphorus compound of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R represents a lower alkyl radical, a phenyl radical, an alkoxy radical, a hydrogen atom or an alkenyl radical; a, b, c and d each represent hydrogen, a halogen atom, a lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, phenyl, a cyclohexyl or a polymethylene group which together with two neighboring C-atoms of the heterocyclic ring forms a cycloaliphatic ring; and X represents an oxygen or sulphur atom; at a temperature from about 0.degree. to about 200.degree. C., and,(b) terminating the carbodiimidization reaction after the evolution of 1 to 90% of the quantity of carbon dioxide to be theoretically expected in the carbodiimidization of all isocyanate groups present, by the addition of a quantity at least equivalent to the phosphorus compound used of a compound which deactivates the catalysts while forming an adduct therewith.

    摘要: A method of preparing biuret polyisocyanates by reacting diisocyanates with up to about 0.4 mol per mol of diisocyanate of a monohydric tertiary alcohol in the presence of from about 0.001 to about 0.1 mol per mol of tertiary alcohol of a catalyst consisting of salts and salt mixtures of nitrogen containing bases and organic or inorganic acids at a temperature of between about 60.degree. and about 210.degree. C. The volume/time yield of biuret polyisocyanate according to this process is from 3 to 5 times greater than volume/time yields obtained with comparative known methods.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a new process for the preparation of mixed trimers by at least partly trimerizing the isocyanate groups of at least two organic isocyanates of a reactivity which differs in the sense of the trimerization reaction, in the presence of trimerization catalysts and optionally interrupting the trimerization reaction at the respectively desired degree of trimerization, in which process the less reactive isocyanate component is introduced, polymerization is then commenced in the presence of the catalyst with the trimerization of at least 0.1% of the isocyanate groups and the more reactive isocyanate component is finally metered into the reaction mixture thus obtained; the mixed trimers obtained according to this process; and the use of the mixed trimers having free isocyanate groups obtained by this process, optionally in a form blocked by blocking agents for organic polyisocyanates, as a starting material for the production of polyurethane plastics materials.
