摘要: Disclosed is a housing support for an apparatus that is used for providing packaging material. A device for shaping the packaging material in order to form filling material this is discharged at an outlet of the housing support is rotatably mounted on the housing support. The housing support comprises a hopper on which a holder for a packaging material reservoir can be mounted and via which the packaging material is fed to the shaping device, a discharge orifice that delimits the outlet, and a bearing structure which is arranged between the hopper and the discharge port in the feeding direction and on which the shaping device can be rotated. The hopper, the discharge port, and the bearing structure are arranged to rest against each other in such a way that a continuous feeding path encompassing an especially rectilinear axis of the feeding direction is formed through the housing support. The feeding path is delimited by an interior wall in the region of the hopper and the discharge port, said interior wall continuously extending around the axis of the feeding direction. In said housing support, (a) at least one concavity that laterally extends away form the feeding path is provided in the region of a central interior wall of the bearing structure, said central interior wall delimiting the feeding path, (b) the concavity runs into the feeding path at a slit that is formed within the central interior wall, (c) the concavity holds the shaping device that is rotatably mounted on the bearing structure in such a way that the shaping device partially projects from the slit into the feeding path in order to shape the packaging material, and (d) the shape of the slit is complementary to the shape of a section of the shaping device adjoining the slit such that a tolerance gap is formed which allows the shaping device to rotate relative to the stationary bearing structure without entering in contact therewith.

摘要: An implantable product includes an optical cavity structure with first and second parts, each of which can operate as an optical cavity. The first part includes a container with at least one opening through which bodily fluid can transfer between the container's interior and exterior when the product is implanted in a body. The second part includes a container that is closed and contains a reference fluid. The implantable product can also include one or both of a light source component and a photosensing component. Photosensed quantities from the first part's output light can be adjusted based on photosensed quantities from the second part's output light. Both parts can have their light interface surfaces aligned so that they both receive input light from a light source component and both provide output light to a photosensing component.

摘要: A technique for altering or repairing the operating state of a semiconductor device comprises field-controlled diffusion of mobile dopant atoms within the metal oxide crystal lattice. When heated (e.g., above 550 K) in the presence of an electric field (e.g., bias to ground of +/−50 V) the dopant atoms are caused to collect to form an ohmic contact, leaving a depletion region. Metal-semiconductor junction devices such as diodes, photo-diodes, photo-detectors, MESFETs, etc. may thereby be fabricated, repaired or modified.

摘要: A technique for creating high quality Schottky barrier devices in doped (e.g., Li+) crystalline metal oxide (e.g., ZnO) comprises field-controlled diffusion of mobile dopant atoms within the metal oxide crystal lattice. When heated (e.g., above 550 K) in the presence of an electric field (e.g., bias to ground of +/−50 V) the dopant atoms are caused to collect to form an ohmic contact, leaving a depletion region. The size of the depletion region controls the thickness of the Schottky barrier. Metal-semiconductor junction devices such as diodes, photo-diodes, photo-detectors, MESFETs, etc. may thereby be fabricated.
