A method and an apparatus are provided for a data transmission/reception in a terminal in a CoMP system is provided. One or more valid subframes are determined for updating feedback information. The feedback information is updated at each of the valid subframes. A feedback information scheduling signal is received at a predetermined subframe. Feedback information updated at a most recent valid subframe, from among previous subframes, is transmitted according to the feedback information scheduling signal.

A Channel State Information (CSI) transmission/reception method and an apparatus for transmitting/receiving CSI efficiently in a Coordinated Multi-Point (CoMP) communication system are provided. The CSI transmission method of a terminal for receiving Joint Transmission (JT) from a first Transmission Point (TP) and a second TP includes receiving a first CSI Reference Signal (CSI-RS) corresponding to the first TP, receiving a second CSI-RS corresponding to the second TP, generating an aggregated CSI corresponding to the first and second CSI-RSs, and transmitting the aggregated CSI, wherein generating an aggregated CSI comprising creating the aggregated CSI with a transmission timing of the aggregated CSI. The CSI transmission/reception method and apparatus is capable of transmission CSI efficiently in the CoMP system.

The present disclosure relates to a 5G communication system or a 6G communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4G communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). A method performed by a transmitting node in a wireless communication system may include encoding a plurality of information bits using a plurality of cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits, interleaving the plurality of the information bits and the plurality of the CRC bits using an interleaving pattern, generating a codeword by convolution-encoding and polar-encoding the plurality of the interleaved information bits and the plurality of the interleaved CRC bits, and transmitting the codeword to a receiving node. The interleaving pattern may correspond to a matrix generated based on a size of the plurality of the information bits and a size the plurality of the CRC bits.

A method performed by a BS in a wireless communication system supporting an RIS includes configuring a CSI-RS group based on at least one of an RIS reflection pattern to be applied to an RIS device or a transmission beam of the BS, transmitting, to a UE, configuration information for a CSI report related to a transmission beam for the BS to transmit a CSI-RS to the UE based on the configured CSI-RS group, and receiving a CSI report related to the transmission beam from the UE receiving the CSI-RS for each CSI-RS group.

The method may comprise the following steps: transmitting, to a terminal, information of a plurality of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) sequences and information of a plurality of data transformation techniques, transforming a data symbol sequence on the basis of the plurality of data transformation techniques, performing an inverse discrete Fourier transformation (IDFT) on combinations of the plurality of transformed data symbol sequences and the plurality of DMRS sequences, measuring peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) values with respect to each of the IDFT-performed signals, selecting an IDFT-performed signal having the lowest PAPR value as a result of the measurement, and the selected IDFT-performed signal may be transmitted to a terminal.

A method of performing fast link adaptation through sounding reference signal (SRS) overhearing when handover is required as a user equipment (UE) is moved in a wireless communication system. The method includes transmitting, to a UE served by a first BS, configuration information for at least one measurement report (MR), receiving, from the UE, an MR associated with an event detected by the UE based on the configuration information for the at least one MR, and transmitting, to at least one second BS, a first message including overhearing configuration information associated with a SRS transmitted from the UE to the first BS, wherein the overhearing configuration information is used for overhearing the SRS by the at least one second BS.

The disclosure relates to a method performed by a base station in a wireless communication system, which may include: transmitting a radio resource control (RRC) message including reconfigurable intelligence surface (RIS) codebook configuration information to an RIS controller; determining a format of RIS control information based on the number of RIS codeword indexes; generating the RIS control information based on the determined format; and transmitting the generated RIS control information to the RIS controller.
