摘要: A compressor includes a housing, a fixed scroll, a movable scroll and a control valve. The housing has a suction chamber, a discharge chamber and a backpressure chamber formed therein. The scrolls are pressed against each other by backpressure in the backpressure chamber. The control valve for controlling the backpressure has first, second and third chambers arranged in this order. The first, second and third chambers are connected to the discharge chamber, the backpressure chamber and the suction chamber, respectively. The control valve has a valve member. The valve member has a first pressure-receiving surface located in the first chamber, a second pressure-receiving surface located in the second chamber and a third pressure-receiving surface located in the third chamber. The area of the third pressure-receiving surface is larger than the area of the first pressure-receiving surface and larger than the area of the second pressure-receiving surface.

摘要: The invention provides a method for suppressing insufficient spread of droplets or mixing of the droplets in neighboring regions when a liquid material is disposed in the regions on a substrate by ejecting the droplets composed of the liquid material. In addition, for a display device, the structure in which insufficient spread of droplets or mixing of the droplets in neighboring regions can be suppressed and the manufacturing method therefor are provided. To accomplish the above, substantially square regions can be formed by a partition provided on a substrate. In each region, among internal surfaces and of the partition surrounding this region, the internal surfaces forming the long sides of the region have irregularities. In addition, the distance between parts of the partition opposing each other with one of regions provided therebetween is increased and decreased along the long side of the region. Furthermore, along the long side of the region, the width of the partition will be increased and decreased.

摘要: A vehicle air conditioner has an IR sensor that detects a temperature of air inside a vehicle compartment. The IR sensor is disposed on an instrument panel so that the sensor is disposed above switches and a face blowout port on the instrument panel. Accordingly, a detecting range of the IR sensor is prevented from interfering by hands of a driver or an occupant even when the switches are operated by the driver. Thus, the air conditioner is capable of stable air conditioning.

摘要: A fluid-filled cylindrical vibration damping device comprising: an elastic body connecting an inner shaft member and an outer sleeve member; a non-compressible fluid-sealing region formed between the inner shaft member and the outer sleeve member; a stop rubber member disposed within the fluid-sealing region and projecting form one of the inner shaft member and the outer sleeve member toward an other of the inner shaft member and the outer sleeve member; and a rigid restricting member bonded to a projecting end portion of the stop rubber member. The stop rubber member extends to a front surface of the rigid restricting member so as to form an abutment rubber projecting from an outer peripheral portion of the front surface so that the projecting end portion of the stop rubber member is brought into abutting contact with the other of the inner shaft member and the outer sleeve member with the abutment rubber.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a method of manufacturing a cylindrical part with a thin-walled portion at a lower cost, and according to the manufacturing method of the present invention, a base metal formed with thin-walled portion adjacent to its closed end can be easily detached from working jigs. According to the method, a thin-walled portion is at first formed by the ironing process on a cylindrical wall adjacent to the closed end, so that an outer-side step portion is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical wall. Then the closed end is punched out and the thin-walled portion is enlarged in a radial and outward direction to form an inner-side step portion on an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical part.
