摘要： An ignition system comprising a metal plate having a pyrogen on one side thereof, a turning shaft journalled by the plate, and a sparking wheel secured to the shaft. A flint is supported by the plate and pressed against the wheel. An opening is formed in the plate adjacent the wheel, and a screen is formed on the plate adjacent the opening. The screen deflects sparks through the opening to the pyrogen, and the screen is preferably angled to efficiently deflect the sparks. The igniter is mounted in a self-heating container for heating food or a liquid.

摘要： A reflow apparatus for soldering has a tunnel and a pipe which form an endless passageway for hot gas. Infrared panel heaters are disposed inside the tunnel for heating printed circuit boards which travel through the tunnel on a conveyor. Hot gas is made to circulate through the passageway by a flow-producing device. A filter is disposed in the passageway for removing particles from fumes which are formed during soldering.

摘要： A method and device of performing plating of an item having a row of fine parts, e.g. a flatpack IC are disclosed. The method comprises immersing said item in a bath of molten solder, removing said item from said bath while maintaining said item in an attitude such that said row of fine parts is sloped with respect to the surface of said molten solder, and causing flux to exert a fluxing action on said molten solder which adheres to said fine parts, thereby decreasing the surface tension of the solder adhering to said fine parts and preventing bridges of solder from forming between said fine parts.

摘要： The disclosed position measuring device includes a position sensitive detector and a processing circuit therefor. The position sensitive detector includes two terminals carrying signals that vary oppositely according to the incident light. A switch connected to one terminal opens and closes the one terminal, and a signal processor processes one output of the position sensitive detector when the switch is opened and another output of the position sensitive detector when the switch is closed so as to produce normalized light/point position information. A control controls the signal processing circuit and the switch.

摘要： The invention provides a method for instantly dyeing a sewing machine thread without interrupting the stitching operation with a sewing machine. The method comprises the steps of adding a dyestuff and/or pigment to a photo-setting resin solution to prepare a dyeing liquid, applying the dyeing liquid to the thread to be colored and subjecting the thread to irradation of ultraviolet rays for setting the dyeing liquid, thereby forming a colored film on the thread. The photo-setting solution is set or hardened by ultraviolet rays, by radical polymerization, cationic polymerization and cross-linking reaction.

A latch latches the alarm in response to a shutter release to indicate that the shutter is open. A switchover device changes the alarm signal in response to the end of an exposure.
