    摘要: According to an aspect of embodiments, there is provided a random number generating circuit including at least one magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) element and a control circuit. The MTJ element comes into a high resistance state corresponding to a first logical value and also comes into a low resistance state corresponding to a second logical value different from the first logical value. The control circuit supplies the MTJ element with a first current for stochastically reversing the MTJ element from the high resistance state to the low resistance state when the MTJ element is in the high resistance state, and supplies the MTJ element with a second current for stochastically reversing the MTJ element from the low resistance state to the high resistance state when the MTJ element is in the low resistance state.

    摘要: A parity adder obtains a second data by adding a parity for first data to be written to a memory to the first data. An access-key register holds an access key unique to a source of request. A first operating unit obtains a third data by calculating an XOR between the second data and the access key, the access key being set by the source of request for writing data to the memory. A second operating unit obtains a fourth data by calculating an XOR between the access key and the third data. A syndrome calculator calculates a syndrome from the third data, the access key being set by the source of request for reading data from the memory. A determining unit determines whether to output the third data as the first data, based on calculated syndrome.

    摘要: In the disclosed data transfer request processing scheme, data transfer requests with deadlines for completing requested data transfers are classified into first class data transfer requests and second class data transfer requests. Then, the processing of first class data transfer requests is scheduled according to a first scheduling policy in which a completion of data transfers requested by the data transfer requests within the deadlines specified for the data transfer requests is a primary key factor in determining an order of processing, while the processing of second class data transfer requests is scheduled according to a second scheduling policy in which a reduction of amounts of the mechanical actions required in carrying out data transfers requested by the data transfer requests is a primary key factor in determining an order of processing. Then, the data transfer requests are processed according to a scheduling result so as to control the storage device to carry out data transfers requested by the data transfer requests. In this way, it is possible to schedule the processing order of the data transfer requests such that the amount of mechanical actions can be reduced, by taking the durability of the mechanical parts in consideration.
