摘要: A test device and method for testing one of a disk drive microactuator and a disk drive sensor that includes two piezoelectric elements. The test device includes a signal generator, signal analyzer, and a user interface. The test device is operational to provide a reference signal (e.g. an electrical signal) to one of the piezoelectric elements in the microactuator and obtain a test measure from the other one of the piezoelectric elements. The test measure is then utilized to assess a performance parameter for the microactuator. The test measure is generated by the other one of the piezoelectric elements in response to the reference signal provided to the first one of the piezoelectric elements. In one embodiment of the invention, the test measure is a signal generated in response to the reference signal that may be compared to a known response signal of an operational microactuator to determine operational characteristics of a subject microactuator such as circuitry operation and/or damage to the microactuator.

摘要: A liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel, a drive circuit, and a power circuit. The drive circuit includes a gate driver, a timing control circuit, and a wave signal generation circuit. The timing control circuit sends a timing control signal to the gate driver and the wave signal generation circuit. The wave signal generation circuit generates a control signal according to the timing control signal, and generates a wave signal according to the control signal. The gate driver generates scan signals according to the timing control signal and the wave signal. Before the voltage of the scan signal changes from a maximum voltage to a minimum voltage, the voltage of the scan signal decreases to an invariable middle voltage that is between the minimum voltage and the maximum voltage during a fall time of the scan signal.

摘要: Apparatus and methods are provided for enabling a microphone module that connects to a headset jack on a game controller. The microphone may include directional or omni-directional microphone element(s) that pick up voice input from people near a peripheral, such as a game controller, but reject background sounds from the room. User controls may also be available to set the microphone gain level, either manually or automatically, and/or to mute or unmute the microphone. The microphone of the invention can be used on a wired or wireless game controller. When used with a wireless game controller, wireless microphone capabilities and freedom of movement are provided without headdress requirements imposed by headsets.
