摘要: A portable terminal includes a first casing having a first wiring board, a first operation portion, and an accommodating portion opened in its peripheral surface, and a second casing configured to be accommodated in the accommodating portion through the opening and having a second wiring board and a second operation portion. A casing movement guiding/supporting mechanism is interposed between one side portion of the first casing and that of the second casing in one direction intersecting a moving locus of the second casing between a retracted position and an extended position in relation to the accommodating portion, and supports the second casing to be movable linearly between the retracted and extended positions. The second casing is selectively locked at the retracted position by a locking mechanism. A battery for supplying electricity to the wiring boards is accommodated in an accommodating chamber in at least one of the casings.

摘要: When an instruction to change the display size of the content of a 1-segment broadcast received by a television broadcast communication unit is given while the content is being displayed on a display screen, and if it is possible to receive the content of a 12-segment broadcast continuously to the content of the 1-segment broadcast, a CPU switches to receiving the 12-segment broadcast and displays the broadcast content in the standard display size (second display size) of the 12-segment broadcast. If it is not possible to receive the 12-segment broadcast continuously to the 1-segment broadcast, the CPU displays the content of the 1-segment broadcast by changing it to the second display size.

摘要: A problem diagnosis method and problem repair method for a laser device such as laser treatment devices used in the medical field and laser processing devices used in industrial fields, capable of detecting problems in laser devices early and reducing the time required for maintenance work on the laser devices are provided. The method comprises a step of measuring the intensity of scattered light generated by an optical part inside the laser device; a step of referring to data indicating a temporal change in the scattered light predicted under predetermined operating conditions of the laser device, and predicting the seriousness of the problem from the intensity of scattered light; and a step of determining what kind of maintenance work is necessary based on the seriousness of the problem. Additionally, the seriousness of the problem in the optical part can be predicted by executing fuzzy logic based on membership functions defining the relationship between scattered light intensity and the seriousness of problems of optical parts.

摘要: In an image correcting apparatus, an image analyzing section performs a predetermined image analysis for an image. An image correction section applies an image correction to the image of interest in accordance with a result of the image analysis by the image analyzing section. A designation section performs a designation of defining contents of the image correction directly or indirectly to the image through an operation. A processing control section causes the image correction section to apply correction of contents defined by the designation of the designation section to the image subjected to the designation of the designation section.
