In this method, four information bits to be transmitted are multiplexed by using either one of a code division multiplexing scheme or a second code division multiplexing scheme combined with a real and imaginary multiplexing scheme, to generate a code division multiplexed symbol including four vectors. Then, the code division multiplexed symbol is repeatedly transmitted by alternatively applying two transmit diversity schemes via four transmission antennas.

    摘要: A method of rate matching process of the hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuestion (HARQ) operation in which coded bits are selected for a transmission depends on whether the transmission is a first transmission of a new packet or a retransmission of an existing packet. In downlink of long term evolution (LTE) system, a downlink grant message is transmitted along with the packet data transmission. The grant message may also contain the redundancy version (RV). A new data indicator (NDI) is introduced to indicate the start of a new packet. The improved method of rate matching may be implanted into either a transmitter or a receiver.

The DL transmission method includes forming a cluster of MSs having a same type of radio interface, receiving, by each MS, a DL transmission including a DL control channel message and a DL data burst, extracting, by the MSs, a DL data assignment included in the DL control channel message and indicating a receiving MS intended to receive the DL data burst, decoding, by the MSs, the DL data assignment and the DL data burst according to a determination to collaborate in the DL transmission, transmitting, by the collaborating MSs, a re-encoded DL data burst to the receiving MS, the receiving MS receiving the re-encoded DL data burst from the collaborating MSs and the DL data burst from the BS.

    摘要: A method of transmitting a control channel format indicator (CCFI), also known as PCFICH (Physical Control Format Indicator Channel), in case where the length of a coded CCFI is not an integer multiple of three, including mapping a plurality of two-bit CCFI into a codebook with each component codeword having three bits; generating a sequence of codewords selected from the codebook by repeating the selected component codeword for predetermined times; generating a codeword by concatenating the sequence of the selected component codewords with the original CCFI bits; and transmitting the codeword carrying information of CCFI. The method further includes a step of generating a permutation of each of the four codewords by assigning K repetitions of the three-bit component codeword to the number of K resource units respectively and mapping remaining K bits of each of the four codewords separately to the number of K resource units.

    摘要: A wireless network includes a serving base station and a plurality of non-serving base stations which are capable of performing a coordinated multipoint communication with at least one subscriber station. A non-serving base station includes at least one antenna configured to overhear a data burst from the subscriber station to a serving base station. The non-serving base station can decode the data burst locally. If the data burst is successfully decoded, the controller forwards the decoded data burst to the serving base station. The serving base station can decode the data burst locally or jointly decode the data burst from the non-serving base station.
