    Abstract: A light adjustment device includes a panel unit having a rectangular pillar shape and including a plurality of light adjustment panels stacked in a first direction, each light adjustment panel having a polygonal shape and including a lower substrate and an upper substrate overlapping the lower substrate. The light adjustment panels each have a first side, a second side adjacent to the first side, and a first corner at which the first side intersects the second side, and when two light adjustment panels adjacent to each other in a first direction among the light adjustment panels are viewed in the first direction, the first corner of one of the light adjustment panels is positioned inside of an edge of the other light adjustment panel, and the first corner of the other light adjustment panel is positioned inside of an edge of the one light adjustment panel.

    Abstract: In a display apparatus, reflection of external light is reduced in order to improve visible recognition. A first organic insulating film is provided with a contact hole, and the contact hole includes: a pixel electrode being in contact with an inner wall of the contact hole; a capacitance insulating film being in contact with the inner wall of the contact hole and the pixel electrode; a common electrode being in contact with the capacitance insulating film; and a second organic insulating film being in contact with the common electrode and filling the contact hole, that are formed therein. An upper side of the contact hole includes: a conductive film being in contact with the second organic insulating film; and an antireflection film being in contact with the conductive film, that are formed therein.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device includes a first area, second area, liquid crystal layer, and a plurality of pixels. Each subpixel includes an opening area including a first opening area and a second opening area. The pixels include a first pixel positioned in the first area and a second pixel positioned over a boundary of the first area and the second area. The opening area of the second pixel is smaller than the opening area of the first pixel when opening areas of subpixels of same color are compared. An each imaginary line showing the boundary of the first opening area and the second opening area is a same straight line.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a manufacturing method includes preparing a substrate with a lower electrode, a rib and a partition, and forming an organic layer and an upper electrode. A first evaporation source used to form a first thin film of the organic layer includes a first nozzle emitting a material toward the substrate relatively moving. A second evaporation source used to form the upper electrode includes a second nozzle emitting a material toward the substrate relatively moving.     Abstract: According to one embodiment, a manufacturing method of a display device includes preparing a processing substrate by forming a lower electrode, forming a rib, and forming a partition including a lower portion and an upper portion, forming an organic layer on the lower electrode, forming an upper electrode on the organic layer, forming a first transparent layer on the upper electrode, and forming a second transparent layer on the first transparent layer. The first transparent layer and the second transparent layer are formed of organic materials different from each other. A refractive index of the second transparent layer is less than a refractive index of the first transparent layer.
