Abstract: The knitted fabric of the present invention is knitted fabric which is not stuffy and is comfortable during insensible perspiration or slight perspiration, which even after considerable perspiration due to exercise etc. does not make the wearer feel sticky, wet, or cold because of the sweat, and which has a satisfactory texture and excellent wear resistance. The knitted fabric comprises 5-25 wt. % cellulosic filaments and 75-95 wt. % synthetic fibers, and is characterized in that in at least one surface A thereof, the proportion of the area occupied by the cellulosic filaments to the overall area of the knitted fabric in the region of the knitted fabric which ranges to a depth of 0.13 mm is 0.2-15% and that surface A to which moisture was imparted in an amount of 200 g/m2 has a degree of coldness to the touch of 180-330 W/m2·° C.

Abstract: This woven/knit fabric contains composite yarn comprising a multifilament yarn A2 and a multifilament yarn B2, which satisfies the following conditions (1) to (3):(1) the ratio (WA2/DA2) of the yarn length of the multifilament fiber A2 during absorption of moisture and humidity (WA2) to the yarn length of the multifilament yarn A2 under conditions of 20° C. and 65% humidity (DA2) is 1.02 to 1.30;(2) the ratio (WA2/DB2) of the yarn length of the multifilament yarn A2 during absorption of moisture and humidity (WA2) to the yarn length of the multifilament yarn B2 under conditions of 20° C. and 65% humidity (DB2) is 0.9 to 1.1; and(3) the drying shrinkage stress (DS value) of the multifilament yarn A2 is 0.08 cN/dtex or more.

Abstract: A multi-layer woven or knitted fabric exhibiting reversibly changeable air permeability, which contains reversibly crimping cellulose acetate fibers exhibiting a percentage of crimp of less than 10% at a humidity of 95% or above and a percentage of crimp of 20% or above at a humidity of 45% or below and which has a basis weight of 100 to 350 g/m2. When water content of the fabric is enhanced by the absorption of water or moisture, the air permeability of the fabric increases to inhibit in-clothes stuffiness or stickiness due to sweat and in-clothes temperature rise, while when the fabric has discharged the water into the outside environment, the air permeability of the fabric decreases to the original one to prevent the body temperature from lowering excessively because of the heat of vaporization and thus keep the in-clothes environment comfortable.

Abstract: A low friction fabric constructed of an outer cover (first layer) of woven fibers with an upper and lower woven surface attached to a structure (i.e.: shoe insert, shoe liner, insole, or sock liner). A second structure (which as part of the system, acts as a second layer) of a fabric of the same or similar weave of fibers, this second structure (i.e. a sock) having an upper and lower surface with an anisotropic weave with the fibers of the upper woven surface running orthogonal to the position of the fibers on the upper woven surface of the first structure. The combination of both structures results in a system that is specifically oriented to take advantage of that anisotropy to reduce friction. Each of the woven layers is formed with a straight yarn in the warp of the weave pattern with the weaves of the layers being oriented at a 90 degree angle to one another.
