摘要: A differential drive assembly including a barrel-like housing surrounding a pair of juxtaposed coaxial sleeves internally splined to receive axles. A first set of sprags or locking elements are disposed circumferentially about one of the sleeves between the circular outer surface of the sleeve and the housing and a second set of like sprags are similarly disposed between the housing and the other sleeve. In one embodiment a single cage member having a central band with fingers extending from opposite sides thereof is disposed between the sleeves and the housing to coact with the sprags, the sprags of this embodiment having arcuate surfaces disposed in recesses in the housing having mating or the same arcuate surfaces so that each sprag rotates about a longitudinal axis. In the second embodiment there is included two similar cage members and the sprags have oppositely disposed arcuate surfaces which are interconnected by generally parallel and spaced side surfaces. The unitary cage members for coacting with both sets of sprags moves both sets of sprags in unison in one mode of operation and limits the amount of relative movement between the first and second sets of sprags when in the second mode of operation.

摘要: A distance between a rotation center of an input member and a contact portion between an input side engaging portion and an input side engaged portion in a second direction is set to be shorter than a distance between a rotation center of an output member and a contact portion between an output side engaging portion and an output side engaged portion in the second direction. 摘要: A directional transmission mechanism, a directional sprocket apparatus using the directional transmission mechanism, and a pedal device using the directional sprocket apparatus are disclosed. The directional transmission mechanism includes a driving shaft, an output shaft, a co-rotating wheel, a reverse-rotating wheel, and a switching mechanism. The co-rotating wheel set drives the output shaft to rotate in a direction that is the same as that of the driving shaft. The reverse-rotating wheel set drives the output shaft to rotate in a direction opposite to that of the driving shaft. The switching mechanism switches the driving shaft to drive the co-rotating wheel set or drive the reverse-rotating wheel set to rotate, so as to enable the output shaft to rotate directionally. The co-rotating wheel set is connected with the driving shaft and the output shaft, and the reverse-rotating wheel set is connected with the driving shaft and the output shaft.

摘要: A clutch including a drive shaft, drive side rotation body, driven shaft, driven side rotation body, clutch housing, and lock member is disclosed. During non-rotation of the drive side rotation body, when the driven side rotation body is rotated, the lock member is pushed by the driven side rotation body and moved outward in a radial direction thereby bringing the contact portion into contact with the inner circumferential surface of the clutch housing. During rotation of the drive side rotation body, the drive side rotation body pushes a drive side cam surface in the rotation direction, and the drive side cam surface acts to move the lock member inward in the radial direction and push the lock member against the driven side rotation body. Thus, the lock member is sandwiched between the drive side rotation body and the driven side rotation body thereby coupling the drive side rotation body and the driven side rotation body with the lock member to be integrally rotatable.

摘要: A clutch unit includes axially arranged input, output and reverse input gears, and a spring clutch. The input and output gears respectively include radially opposed input and output clutch portions. The spring clutch is tightly bound to the input clutch portion and includes coil springs each having transmission and release hooks. With the transmission hooks in engagement with the output clutch portion, the release hooks are spaced forward from the transmission hooks. From an unlocking state, when the release portion is reverse rotated by distance c while pushing the release portions, the spring clutch is unlocked, and when a reverse rotational portion is reverse rotated by distance b, it engages a reverse rotation engaging portion. When the release portion is further reverse rotated after the spring clutch has been unlocked by distance a, the release portion engages the hook engaging portion and stops. a>b>c.
