    摘要: It is an object of this invention to provide a gas fuel supply system in which a controllable range in the fuel injection quantity control by an injector is enlarged. According to one preferable aspect of this invention, the gas fuel supply system comprises an injector provided in an intake pipe of an internal combustion engine, a fuel supply passage for supplying the gas fuel to the injector, and means for controlling pressure of the gas fuel supplied to the injector through the fuel supply passage by using negative pressure in the intake pipe such that the pressure of the gas fuel increases if the negative pressure in the intake pipe decreases, and the pressure of the gas fuel decreases if the negative pressure in the intake pipe increases.

    摘要: A regulator valve has a housing with a seal member therein. First and second plungers are movable in the housing toward and away from the seal member. The plungers are sealed to the housing and have passages therethrough. The plungers are biased toward the seal member by fluid pressure at the housing outlet end. The plungers are biased away from the seal member by a spring. First and second diaphragms connected to the plungers engage the housing inner wall in sealing engagement so that fluid must flow through the passages. The diaphragms and housing define an expansion chamber. A port in fluid communication with the expansion chamber allows selectable introduction of pilot pressure into the expansion chamber to force the first plunger into engagement with the seal member and prevent flow through the passages. In an embodiment of the regulator valve, the water inlet may be oriented at some divergent angle with respect to a water outlet such as 90 degrees.

    摘要: A poultry drinker system includes a number of drinker lines each supplied from a common high pressure water supply through a water pressure regulator. Each regulator includes a reference spring establishing a default minimum water pressure. A centralized remote control system provides regulated low pressure air to the water pressure regulators to augment the reference spring force and remotely adjust the water pressure in the drinker lines. The remote control system periodically applies higher pressure air to the water pressure regulators to increase water pressure and flow rates and sequentially flush the drinker lines. The remote control system includes a source of high pressure air, an air pressure regulator for supplying lower pressure air and a stack of 3-way valves for applying low or high pressure air to each water pressure regulator.

A preferred embodiment of the regulator includes a dampening member defined by an o-ring 82 that exerts a drag on the pressure responsive member 30 to address oscillations associated with high flow rates. The dampening force can be varied according to the subject invention. Moreover, a normally planar poppet retaining member reduces manufacturing costs of the regulator and allows for a highly polished surface to address concerns with impurities. A biasing arrangement 120 is also incorporated into the regulator to assure that the poppet 68 seals against the valve seat 70 if the internal pressure charge of the regulator is lost.

    摘要: A controller for controlling the increase in fluid brake pressure as a brake is applied irrespective of how rapidly the operator applies the brakes. The controller includes a valve between inlet and outlet ports in a valve body, the valve having opposing faces subjected respectively to pressure at the outlet and pressure in a volume chamber between the valve and a spring loaded piston and connected to the outlet through a restricted orifice. The valve seeks an equilibrium position wherein the rate of rise in pressure at the outlet is controlled and the deceleration of the vehicle is controlled even when the operator applies the brakes at an excessive rate.
