摘要: A single-track motor vehicle or a multi-track motor vehicle with tilt technology, includes one or more environment sensors that are installed in the front of the motor vehicle and that are arranged for detecting an area in front of the motor vehicle, and a control unit. The control unit controls an actuator while the motor vehicle is travelling depending on the position of the motor vehicle that is detected by the position sensor system in such a way that when the motor vehicle is tilted along a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis thereof, the movable element is moved by means of the actuator so that the position of a respective environment sensor is not rotated relative to the longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle when the motor vehicle is tilted compared to the position of the respective environment sensor when the motor vehicle is not tilted.

摘要: A wheelie suppressing control unit includes: a first determiner that determines whether a vehicle is in a traveling state satisfying a first condition representing a wheelie state; a second determiner that determines whether the vehicle is in a traveling state satisfying a second condition representing a pre-wheelie state which is a state preceding the wheelie state; and a controller that controls the vehicle based on an operation input. If the first determiner determines that the first condition is satisfied, the controller executes first control that reduces the output of a drive source of the vehicle. If the first determiner determines that the first condition is not satisfied and the second determiner determines that the second condition is satisfied, the controller executes second control that restricts a rate of change of the output with respect to the operation input provided to an operation member.

摘要: A bicycle control apparatus is provided that can improve the stability of the behavior of a bicycle. The bicycle control apparatus includes a controller that is configured to reduce the output of a motor when a rear wheel of a bicycle is in a prescribed state. The prescribed state is a state in which a load of the rear wheel is determined to be less than a prescribed load for a duration of time that is equal to or more than a prescribed time.

摘要: A method of storing traveling information of a leanable vehicle which turns in a leaning state, includes the steps of: obtaining information of a traveling position history of the leanable vehicle; detecting lateral force information including a lateral force applied to the leanable vehicle in a radially outward direction of a turn or a value corresponding to the lateral force, while the leanable vehicle is turning; and storing the detected lateral force information in association with the obtained information of the traveling position history.

摘要: An acceleration detector is placed on a side stand portion attached to the main body of a side-stand-equipped vehicle. The acceleration detector has a CPU. In a side stand state detection mode, the CPU detects the state of the side stand portion according to a detection signal from the acceleration detector. In an orientation detection mode, the CPU detects the orientation of the main body of the side-stand-equipped vehicle.

摘要: A control apparatus of a straddle vehicle includes: a prediction section that determines whether a rider of the straddle vehicle intends to turn the straddle vehicle and predicts whether turning of the straddle vehicle will occur, based on information related to at least one of a predetermined behavior exhibited by a vehicle body of the straddle vehicle before turning and a predetermined driving operation performed by the rider; and a vehicle control section that provides driving assistance during turning of the straddle vehicle based on a result of the prediction made by the prediction section.

摘要: An electronic bicycle includes a torque control system that controls what torque is applied to wheels of the electronic bicycle by electronic hub motors. The torque control system may determine a torque to apply to the wheels based on user input signals. The torque control system also may detect when the wheels of the electronic bicycle are slipping, and adjust the torque to minimize the time that the wheel is slipping. Additionally, the torque control system may determine a coefficient of friction between the wheels and the ground and determine a maximum torque to apply to the wheels based on the coefficient of friction. Furthermore, when braking, the torque control system may determine whether torque is applied to the wheels by passive braking or by active braking.

摘要: A method for changing a transmission ratio of an electrically controllable gearing of a bicycle, in particular of an electric bicycle, includes (i) measuring a pedaling frequency of the bicycle rider on the pedal shaft, (ii) measuring a pedaling force of the bicycle rider, and (iii) determining a gear change operating state on the basis of the measured pedaling frequency and on the basis of the measured pedaling force if the measured pedaling frequency is less than or equal to a lower frequency threshold value or is greater than or equal to an upper frequency threshold value, and/or the measured pedaling force is less than or equal to a lower force threshold value or is greater than or equal to an upper force threshold value. After determining the gear change operating state, a control signal is generated for the gearing according to the determined gear change operating state.
