Each gear tooth profile of the rotor has a modified recess provided symmetrically on both sides; the starting point (A) of the modified recess on one side of the gear tooth profile is located between a first point and a second point determined by locations of two limit positions, the end point (B) of the modified recess on the same side of the gear tooth profile is located between a third point and a fourth point determined by locations of two limit positions. By adopting the present disclosure, the internal leakage formed between high and low pressure chambers is effectively avoided, thereby significantly improving the volume efficiency and mechanical efficiency. Meanwhile, the present disclosure is extremely simple in structure and can be molded by one-time grinding with better manufacturability.

Pumping elements move within the pumping cavity of the casing and define a collapsing pocket that maintains fluid communication with the positive-displacement auxiliary pumping port after the collapsing pocket is no longer in fluid communication with the discharge port.

The flutes can be readily and economically made by end milling, in which a first flute is milled with a minimized number of milling passes such as a first pass to make one arcked-helical flank and a portion of the arcked-helical root of a first flute and a second pass to make the opposing arcked-helical flank and another portion of the arcked-helical root of the first flute. Additional discrete flutes are made in a similar manner until the main rotor is completed.

    摘要: A compact, rotary gas-operated motor having only two moving components, including valving. Pressurized gas causes an elongate rotor to rotate end-over-end within a generally triangular chamber and causes a crank to slide in a slot in the elongate rotor. A disk rotating with the shaft includes ports to admit pressurized gas and exhaust spent gas. The inlet port is shaped and positioned to provide early cut-off of inlet gas and provide up to 2:1 expansion ratio of the pressurized gas. Still earlier cut-off of inlet gas, at a location between the rotating disk and its housing, provides expansion ratios as high as 9:1. A movable guillotine may be used to provide continuously variable expansion ratios of from about 3:1 to 9:1.

    摘要: The invention relates to a gerotar type rotary piston machine. The casing has a main axis and the gerotor gear set includes an internally toothed ring member with the teeth thereof in the form of rollers and an externally toothed star member which is rotatable about its own axis and orbital about the casing main axis. A main drive shaft is rotatable about the casing axis and a universal type wobble shaft connects the main shaft to the gerotor star member. An insert member is disposed internally of the ring member which has recesses for receiving the rollers of the ring member. The star gear and the insert member have a combined thickness equal to the width of the ring gear. The star gear has a centrally disposed slot and the wobble shaft has a blade shaped portion disposed in the slot. The insert member has a central bore and the blade portion of the wobble shaft extends through the star gear into the central bore. The dimensions of the recesses of the insert member are selected that the axially parallel lines of contact between the rollers and the star gear lie within these recesses.

A slider block which is supported within a cavity in the piston has an irregularly shaped bore therethrough including a number of circumferentially spaced large radius portions which are adapted to be engaged by lobes on a cammed portion of the drive shaft to cause the slider block to reciprocate both laterally within the piston cavity and move with the piston in the cylinder. Located adjacent the slider block in the piston cavity is a counterweight having an irregular bore therethrough similar to the bore in the slider block but with the angular orientation of the large radius portions shifted to cause the counterweight to move in an opposite direction to the slider block and to the reciprocating piston when the drive shaft is rotated.
