摘要: The present invention provides a long afterglow lamp that comprises a lamp body, characterized in that a light penetrating long afterglow rubber sheath is sleeved outside the body. The present invention is simple in structure thus greatly facilitating the manufacturing process. Ultraviolet light or visible light from the light source of the lamp body is absorbed by the long afterglow fluorescent powder in the long afterglow fluorescent rubber sheath. When the lamp body turns off, the long afterglow fluorescent powder in the long afterglow fluorescent rubber sheath can still keep glowing for a period of time, to provide an illuminating or indicating function.

摘要: The optical image reader is versatile since it can be assembled for use in a variety of reader applications, such as an ultra high definition reader, a high definition reader, a standard reader and an ultra long range reader. In addition to a housing enclosing an image sensor, an adjustable objective lens assembly for focusing an image of a target on the image sensor and a light source for illuminating and/or targeting the target, the reader includes a light shaping optical element array comprising optical elements assembled together as an integral unit and adapted to be fixed to the housing for shaping and directing light on the target. The optical elements are mounted on a panel, which is adapted to be fixed to the reader housing either permanently, or releasably to permit replacement of the panel on the housing. The method of assembling the image reader comprises the steps of selecting a light shaping optical element array from the variety of optical element arrays for the specific application, adjusting the objective lens assembly for optimum focal length for the specific application, and fixing the light shaping optical element array panel to the image reader housing. The present invention is further directed to a kit for an imaging system. The kit for an imaging system comprises an image reader mounted in a housing and one or more light shaping optical element array panels, each adapted to be releasably attached to the image reader housing.

摘要: A short arc lamp incorporates a cylindrical reflector body having a reflector cavity opening to a first end and an anode aperture through a base surface at a second end. The body has a step at the second end. A front sleeve with a step for positional engagement of a land is received over the first end of the reflector body. A cathode support is received within the second end of the front sleeve and includes a ring to engage a second oppositely oriented positioning step. A window mount received within the second end of the front sleeve abuts a front surface of the ring. A highly conductive base concentrically supporting an anode received through the anode aperture has a flange in flush abutment with the base surface for braze attachment.

摘要: Described are a method and a photodetector system for determining a wavelength of light. A current generated in a photodetector in response to incident light is determined. The incident light is terminated and a decay current generated by the photodetector is determined. The wavelength of the light is determined according to the current, the decay current and a predetermined correspondence between the current and decay current as a function of wavelength and time. In one embodiment, the decay current is compared to reference decay currents to determine a matched reference decay current and the wavelength of the light is determined according to a wavelength associated with the matched reference decay current.

摘要: A sensor for color and depth information capture is disclosed. A filter passes selected wavelengths according to a predetermined pattern to the sensor. The sensor measures light intensities passed by the filter. In one embodiment, the wavelengths passed by the filter correspond to red, green, blue and infrared light. The intensity values can be used for interpolation operations to provide intensity values for areas not captured by the sensor. For example, in an area corresponding to a pixel for which an intensity of red light is captured, interpolation operations using neighboring intensity values can be used to provide an estimation of blue, green and infrared intensities. Red, green and blue intensity values, whether captured or interpolated, are used to provide visible color image information. Infrared intensity values, whether captured or interpolated, are used to provide depth and/or surface texture information.

摘要: An optical element having a plate-like shape includes a light-transmitting resin and minute regions. The minute regions are dispersedly distributed in the light-transmitting resin and have a birefringence different from the light-transmitting resin. At least one of the light-transmitting resin and the minute regions contains at least one luminescent material. The thus arranged optical element omits the necessity to separately provide a light emitting means made of a light-transmitting resin containing reflective dots or the like as in a conventional manner, while being capable of allowing light, which results from excitation by incident light in the optical element (through the luminescent material), to be emitted to the outside in the form of linearly polarized light having a certain plane of vibration.
