摘要： A beam waveguide feeder in which a feed horn, a pair of revolvable paraboloidal reflectors, and at least one plane reflector are arranged in the order stated so as to form a path for an electric wave, said pair of paraboloidal reflectors facing each other and being equal in focal distance and off-set angle, their zeniths and focuses being on an identical plane, is characterized in that said feed horn can be fixed in position while its equivalent feed horn, i.e., the image of said feed horn focused by the beam waveguide feeder, can be moved into an arbitrary location and turned in an arbitrary direction.

摘要： A Schwarzschild Antenna includes feed horns respectively mounted on a turnstile waveguide switch. During transmission, as each horn passes a particular arc of rotation, microwave energy is emitted from the horn onto an adjacent mirror that reflects the energy to the antenna reflectors. 摘要： An antenna involving a plurality of linear arrays disposed about a surface of revolution formed about a horizontal axis by rotation of a double-ended hyperbolic curve. Each of the arrays follows a line conforming to that surface of revolution but lying entirely in a plane also containing the horizontal axis of the surface of revolution. The antenna elements of each array are excited from a transmission line such as a waveguide which is, in turn, fed from a centrally located parallel-plate waveguide planar beam generating arrangement. A conventional or Dopplerscan array provides the excitation for the so-called parallelplate waveguide converter. The radiated beam shape tends to hold its focus and therefore has uniform width in elevation over the full azimuth beamwidth at all useful elevation beam positions.
