    摘要: A system and method for reliable control of a high rotor pole switched reluctance machine (HRSRM) utilizing a sensorless reliable control system. The method comprising: energizing at least one of the plurality of stator phases; measuring a first current value and time taken by the first current value to reach a first peak value or preset threshold value of current; determining a self-inductance value; storing the self-inductance value and the first current value for each of the stator phases; measuring a second current value and time taken by an adjacent un-energized stator phase to reach a second peak value of current; determining a mutual inductance value; storing the mutual inductance value and the second current value for each of the stator phases; estimating a rotor position utilizing the self-inductance and mutual inductance values; and controlling the HRSRM based on the estimated rotor position.

    摘要: The invention relates to a generic method for determining the rotor position of an electronically-commutated multi-phase direct current motor, characterized in: (a) generating of a plurality of test voltage pulses in the winding system with a specified switch-on duration ΔT by means of the commuting device in different phase distributed over 360°; (b) measurement of the current values of the current responses of the test voltage pulses on expiration of the switch-on period of the respective test voltage pulse; (c) approximation of the measured current values by means of a periodic approximation function from a superimposition of a preferably sinusoidal fundamental wave with an amplitude IEMK and the associated first harmonic with an amplitude Und as a factor of the phase of the test voltage pulse, wherein the sinusoidal fundamental wave follows the chronological progression of the counter EMF voltage of the stator and the first harmonic follows the chronological progression of the stator of the direct current motor; (d) determination of an amplitude ratio value IEMF/IInd of the fundamental wave and the first harmonic of the approximation function; (e) determination of the rotor position as the EMF angle from the argument of the first harmonic of the approximation function as a factor of the amplitude ratio IEMF/IInd, wherein the EMF angle indicates the phase offset of the sinusoidal progression of the counter EMF voltage of the stator relative to the approximation function and the inductivity angle indicates the phase offset of the sinusoidal progression of the inductivity of the stator relative to the approximation function.

    摘要: A device for determining a rotor position in a polyphase electric motor has a power control unit for applying drive voltages according to a pulse width modulation scheme so as to synchronously drive the motor. A measurement unit is arranged for measuring a voltage value on a respective phase by determining a zero-crossing interval where the phase current is around zero, disconnecting the phase from the respective drive voltage during the zero-crossing interval, and measuring the voltage value when the drive voltage of a first other phase is the supply voltage and the drive voltage of a second other phase is the zero voltage. A position unit is arranged for determining the rotor position based on the voltage value.

    摘要: A circuit arrangement for powering an electric motor having at least three windings from a direct voltage source via a commutation circuit which, for each winding terminal of the electric motor, comprises a commutation branch including a first and a second switching element by which the relevant winding terminals can be connected selectively to a first terminal of the direct voltage source or, via a measurement impedance, to a second terminal of the direct voltage source. A ring counter device periodically changes over the switching elements of the commutation circuit in accordance with a signal series which is cycled through the ring counter device under control of a clock signal, one period of the ring counter device corresponding to one complete cycle of the signal series through the ring counter device. A clock frequency generating stage supplies the clock signal whose clock frequency is dependent on the measurement voltage. A motor-current dependent commutation which operates reliably for all operating conditions of the motor, particularly all speeds, using a circuit of low complexity, is obtained in that a sample and hold circuit has an input coupled to the measurement impedance in order to sample a measurement voltage appearing across the measurement impedance and in that the ring counter device, in each of its periods, controls the sample and hold circuit so as to acquire a sampled value of the measurement voltage at a presettable instant outside the time interval for the change-over of the switching elements of the commutation circuit.

    摘要: In a system for starting elevator machinery driven by a synchronous motor, current is fed to the motor by a frequency converter and a traction sheave is connected to the motor to move the elevator car with hoisting ropes. The angle of the magnetic field of the stator is determined when the elevator stops. When the motor is started again, a new value of the angle of the magnetic field of the stator is determined on the basis of the change in the load signal. The frequency converter is adjusted so that a magnetic field whose direction corresponds to the new angle of the magnetic field of the stator is generated in the motor.

    摘要: A motor driver using a motor magnetic pole reference controlling mechanism is provided. A motor position detecting circuit detects a rotor of a motor to determine a plurality of magnetic pole positions to which the rotor of the motor is switched respectively during a plurality of time intervals. A reference magnetic pole switching circuit selects one of the plurality of time intervals according to a change in rotational speed of the motor over time. The reference magnetic pole switching circuit uses the magnetic pole position to which the rotor of the motor is switched during the one of the plurality of time intervals as magnetic pole reference data. A motor driving circuit drives the motor according to the magnetic pole reference data from the reference magnetic pole switching circuit.
