Abstract: A light-emitting element containing a fluorescent material and having high emission efficiency is provided. The light-emitting element contains the fluorescent material and a host material. The host material contains a first organic compound and a second organic compound. The first organic compound and the second organic compound can form an exciplex. The proportion of a delayed fluorescence component in light emitted from the exciplex is higher than or equal to 5%, and the delayed fluorescence component contains a delayed fluorescence component whose fluorescence lifetime is 10 ns or longer and 50 μs or shorter.

Abstract: An organic light emitting diode comprises an emitting material layer implementing a delayed fluorescence and another emitting material layer disposed adjacently to the emitting material layer and implementing fluorescence or phosphorescence and an organic light emitting device including the diode. As exciton generated in the plural emitting material layer drops to a ground state through the luminous materials each of which has a controlled energy level, it is possible to implement excellent luminous efficiency derived from a delayed fluorescent material and improved color purity derived from a fluorescent or phosphorescent material having narrow FWHM.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a plurality of host materials and organic electroluminescent devices comprising the same. The present disclosure may provide a plurality of host materials having a composition favorable to thermal denaturation due to a low deposition temperature, while improving hole properties and electronic properties of HOMO and LUMO, by comprising separate compounds represented by formulas 1 and 2 into a light-emitting layer. By comprising the plurality of host materials of the present disclosure, it is possible to provide an organic electroluminescent device having a lower driving voltage, higher luminous efficiency and/or longer lifetime.

Abstract: An organic light-emitting device includes: a first electrode; a second electrode facing the first electrode; an emission layer between the first electrode and the second electrode; a hole transport region between the first electrode and the emission layer; and an electron transport region between the emission layer and the second electrode, wherein the hole transport region includes a first compound, the emission layer includes a second compound and a third compound, and the electron transport region includes a fourth compound and a fifth compound. An organic light-emitting device according to the one or more embodiments may have high efficiency and long lifespan.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an organic compound having the following structure, and an organic light emitting diode (OLED) and an organic light emitting device including the organic compound. The organic compound is a bipolar compound having a p-type moiety and an n-type moiety and has high energy level and proper energy bandgap for an emissive layer of the OLED. As the organic compound is applied into the emissive layer, the OLED can maximize its luminous properties as holes and electrons are recombined uniformly over the whole area in an EML.

Abstract: Emission efficiency of a light-emitting element is improved. The light-emitting element has a pair of electrodes and an EL layer between the pair of electrodes. The EL layer includes a first light-emitting layer and a second light-emitting layer. The first light-emitting layer includes a fluorescent material and a host material. The second light-emitting layer includes a phosphorescent material, a first organic compound, and a second organic compound. An emission spectrum of the second light-emitting layer has a peak in a yellow wavelength region. The first organic compound and the second organic compound form an exciplex.

Abstract: To provide a light-emitting element with high emission efficiency and low driving voltage. The light-emitting element includes a guest material and a host material. A LUMO level of the host material is higher than a LUMO level of the host material, and a HOMO level of the guest material is lower than a HOMO level of the host material. The guest material has a function of converting triplet excitation energy into light emission. The difference between a singlet excitation energy level and a triplet excitation energy level of the host material is greater than 0 eV and less than or equal to 0.2 eV. The energy difference between the LUMO level and the HOMO level of the host material is larger than or equal to light emission energy of the guest material.
