    摘要: A dual clutch selectively transmits torque from a flywheel to a dual input transmission. The transmission has two input shafts a first shaft and a second shaft that is a hollow sleeve shaft. The second shaft is concentric with the first shaft. The dual clutch has two clutch units to selectively couple a crankshaft of an engine to one of the two input shafts. More specifically, the dual clutch includes members such as a clutch housing rotationally fixed to the crankshaft through a flywheel and other members such hubs that are rotationally fixed to the input shafts. The clutches are actuated by a rotationally fixed clutch actuator. Axial loads on the clutches are transferred through a bearing to a fixed member.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for controlling a dual clutch and a dual clutch housing two friction clutches which are each actuated independently of one another by means of a hydrostatic actuator. The hydrostatic actuator actuates the clutch as a function of a control signal of a control unit by means of a pressure which is applied to the actuation element and corresponds to a position of an actuation element of the friction clutch along an activation path. In order to sense a change in the position of the actuation element on one friction clutch which is brought about by the pressure on the actuation element of the other friction clutch, it is proposed to determine a correction variation for the purpose of compensating the changed position by means of a variable which represents the pressure of the disruptive hydrostatic actuator.

    摘要: At pre-shift of a shift control, a line pressure control section determines a pressure raising amount ΔPL of a line pressure PL on the basis of a pressure raising amount map stored in a memory, and controls a line pressure controlling linear solenoid valve so that the line pressure PL regulated by a regulator valve is raised by this pressure raising amount ΔPL. For example, a control hydraulic pressure corresponding to the pressure raising amount ΔPL is applied to the regulator valve from the line pressure controlling linear solenoid valve. Thus, hydraulic oil supplied from an oil pump is mostly discharged from an output port for the line pressure PL. Therefore, although there is a possibility that the line pressure PL regulated within a line pressure circuit somewhat varies when stroke of a hydraulic piston starts, a decrease of the line pressure PL is suppressed sufficiently compared with the case where the line pressure PL is not raised as a conventional manner.

A housing of the actuation mechanism is supported on the clutch bell, and the plate support at the input end of at least one of the multi-plate clutches is connected to the housing by a supporting metal sheet or a supporting pot and a footstep bearing such that a flow of an actuation force generated by the actuation mechanism is redirected to the housing of the actuation mechanism via the supporting metal sheet or the supporting pot and the footstep bearing, thus creating a closed force flow within the device.

    摘要: In transmissions having input clutches, a lever arm configured as a second class lever is pivoted at one end, applies force to a clutch bearing near its middle and is acted upon by a linear actuator at its opposite end. The present invention relates to mechanisms for adjusting the location of the pivot to compensate for clutch wear. The fixed pivot is replaced by a linear one way clutch mechanism. As the clutch facing wears and the clutch is activated, an extension of the actuating lever arm abuts a stationary stop beyond the one way clutch pivot which translates the pivot point provided by the one way clutch mechanism toward the clutch to reduce pre-travel and compensate for clutch facing wear. Hydraulic and spring biasing of the pivot point are also disclosed.

The slip generation module generates transmission slip. The volume determination module, after the transmission slip has been generated, applies a torque converter clutch (TCC) and determines a volume of the TCC based on a period for the TCC to fill with hydraulic fluid. The calibration control module generates a calibrated volume based on the determined volume and calibrates a control module based on the calibrated volume, wherein the control module controls the transmission.
