摘要: Techniques discussed herein are directed to identifying health assessment data of a set of computing instances of a distributed computing system. The health assessment data may be collected from the computing instances and stored in a first distributed cache. When a request for health assessment data for one or more computing instances is received, the health assessment data may be retrieved from the first distributed cache, provided to the requesting entity, and stored in a second distributed cache. A subsequent request may cause new health assessment data to be retrieved from the first distributed cache and compared to the stored data of the second distributed cache. Changes in the health assessment data may be identified and data indicating those changes may be provided in response to the subsequent request. One or more remedial actions may be performed in response to the health assessment data obtained.

摘要: Some embodiments of the invention provide a novel network architecture for advertising routes in an availability zone (AZ). The novel network architecture includes a set of route servers for receiving advertisements of network addresses as being available in the AZ from different routers in the AZ. The novel network architecture also includes multiple host computers that each execute a router that (i) identifies network addresses available on the host computer, (ii) sends advertisements of the identified network addresses to the set of route servers, and (iii) receives advertisements from the set of route servers regarding network addresses available on other host computers. The identified network addresses, in some embodiments, include at least one of network addresses associated with data compute nodes (DCNs) and network addresses associated with services available at the host computer. The route servers advertise the received network addresses to other routers in the AZ.

The present disclosure solves the technical problem in the conventional techniques that the configuration of the number of servers for a domain name in a region needs to be adjusted on the basis of experiences or manually in real time according to actual situations, resulting in high operation and maintenance costs and unguaranteed configuration accuracy.

摘要: An acceleration resource scheduling method includes: receiving an acceleration instruction sent by the virtual machine, where the acceleration instruction includes to-be-accelerated data; determining a virtual accelerator allocated to the virtual machine; determining, based on the virtual accelerator, a network accelerator that is to process the acceleration instruction, and sending the acceleration instruction to the network accelerator, so that the network accelerator sends the acceleration instruction to a physical accelerator that is to process the acceleration instruction; receiving a computing result that is returned after the physical accelerator performs acceleration computing on the to-be-accelerated data by using the physical acceleration resource; and sending the computing result to the virtual machine.

The application servers can be divided into application server groups that each include an application server. The server receives data from a data source and the data includes a source identifier and a key identifier associated with the data source. The server determines a particular application server group that is associated with the data source based on the source identifier of the data source and transmits the data from the data source to an application server of the application server group. The application server determines a particular database server associated with the application server group and transmits the data to the database server, which determines a particular partition of a system database in which to store the data based on the key identifier of the data source.

摘要: A novel design of a gateway that handles traffic in and out of a network by using a datapath pipeline is provided. The datapath pipeline includes multiple stages for performing various data-plane packet-processing operations at the edge of the network. The processing stages include centralized routing stages and distributed routing stages. The processing stages can include service-providing stages such as NAT and firewall. The gateway caches the result previous packet operations and reapplies the result to subsequent packets that meet certain criteria. For packets that do not have applicable or valid result from previous packet processing operations, the gateway datapath daemon executes the pipelined packet processing stages and records a set of data from each stage of the pipeline and synthesizes those data into a cache entry for subsequent packets.

The methods and systems can sort the plurality of end nodes, wherein the plurality of end nodes are sorted in a decreasing order of a receive weight. The method and system may further route, in the decreasing order of receive weights, the plurality of end nodes, wherein the routing comprises selecting at least one down-going port and at least one up-going port. Further, the method and system can increase an accumulated downward weight on each selected down-going port by the receive weight of the routed end node, and increase an accumulated upward weight on each selected up-going port by the receive weight of the routed end node.

摘要: A system designed for increasing network communication speed for users, while lowering network congestion for content owners and ISPs. The system employs network elements including an acceleration server, clients, agents, and peers, where communication requests generated by applications are intercepted by the client on the same machine. The IP address of the server in the communication request is transmitted to the acceleration server, which provides a list of agents to use for this IP address. The communication request is sent to the agents. One or more of the agents respond with a list of peers that have previously seen some or all of the content which is the response to this request (after checking whether this data is still valid). The client then downloads the data from these peers in parts and in parallel, thereby speeding up the Web transfer, releasing congestion from the Web by fetching the information from multiple sources, and relieving traffic from Web servers by offloading the data transfers from them to nearby peers.

摘要: An example embodiment may include a computational instance and a computing device within a remote network management platform. The computing device may be configured to: receive, from a client device of the managed network, a request to redirect, to a second URL, future requests addressed to a first URL; provide, to the client device, instructions to generate a certificate that binds an identity of the entity that operates the managed network to the first URL; receive, from the client device, the certificate; store the certificate and a corresponding cryptographic key; and generate a mapping between the first URL and the second URL. The computational instance may be configured to, in response to receiving a content request referencing the destination, generate a content response containing content from the destination, where any hyperlinks to the second URL in the content are replaced with hyperlinks to the first URL.

摘要: The technology disclosed relates to failure recovery in cloud-based services. In particular, the technology disclosed relates to a service instance BA that identifies a service instance BB as having a secondary role for packets carrying a stream affinity code which is specified in a service map distributed to service instances. Service instance BA state information is synchronized with the service instance BB after processing a first packet. After failure of the service instance BA, a service instance AA receives an updated service map, and prepares to forward to the service instance BA a second packet. The second packet includes a same stream affinity code as the first packet forwarded before the failure. The updated service map is used to determine that the service instance BB is available and servicing the same stream affinity code as the service instance BA. The second packet is forwarded to the service instance BB.
