Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for creating and using native virtual probes in computing environments. A request for a service that includes a virtual function can be received, where the virtual function is to be monitored by a native virtual probe. An image of the service can be obtained, where the image can include a first image component for the virtual function and a second image component for the native virtual probe. The image can be deployed. Deployment of the image can result in instantiation of the virtual function on a computing device and instantiation of the native virtual probe on the computing device.

Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards network slice pre-configuration for cellular communication systems, including 5G and subsequent generation cellular communication systems. Network equipment can be preconfigured to identify whether a network slice identifier included in a network communication belongs to a group of network slice identifiers. If so, the network equipment can process the network communication either according to a network slice rule that corresponds specifically to the network slice identifier, or according to a default group network slice rule for the group to which the network slice identifier belongs. Different groups of network slice identifiers can be associated with different sets of group network slice rules which can be arranged to reduce the work of setting up network slice identifiers in various network slicing scenarios.

Abstract: A device, computer-readable medium, and method for adaptive simulation of celebrity and legacy avatars in extended reality environments is disclosed. In one example, a method performed by a processing system including at least one processor includes acquiring preferences from a user with respect to a virtual interaction, matching the preferences to an individual for whom an avatar is available, rendering an extended reality environment in which the virtual interaction will occur, rendering the avatar in the extended reality environment, receiving an input from the user, extracting a meaning from the input, and controlling the avatar to present an output that is responsive to the meaning, wherein the output is generated dynamically using at least one of: an image of the individual, an audio of the individual, or biographical data of the individual.

Abstract: Core network slices that belong to a given operator community are efficiently tracked at the network control/user plane functions level, with rich data analytics in real-time based on their geographic instantiations. In one aspect, an enhanced vendor agnostic orchestration mechanism is utilized to connect a unified management layer with an integrated slice-components data analytics engine (SDAE), a slice performance engine (SPE), and a network slice selection function (NSSF) in a closed-loop feedback system with the serving network functions of one or more core network slices. The tight-knit orchestration mechanism provides economies of scale to mobile carriers in optimal deployment and utilization of their critical core network resources while serving their customers with superior quality.

The first social media server presents the first media content and the avatar on a first social media site. Further embodiments can include analyzing the first media content resulting in an analysis, generating second data associated with an adjusted avatar based on the analysis and the first data associated with the avatar, and providing the second data to the first social media server. The first social media server ceases presenting the avatar on the first social media site and presents the adjusted avatar on the first social media site according to the second data. Other embodiments are disclosed.
