Abstract:
A high frequency-resistant thermosetting coating is provided for the manufacture of high frequency-resistant enamelled wires. A high frequency-resistant enamelled wire produced from the high frequency-resistant thermosetting coating is also provided. The adhesion, crosslinking density, abrasion resistance, and softening resistance of the coating are excellent. With the same nominal diameter and a coating thickness more than 85 &mgr;m, the high frequency resistant lifetime of the enamelled wire produced from the high frequency-resistant thermosetting coating is 3 to 4 times as that of conventional thermoplastic enamelled wires.
Abstract:
A method for preventing corrosion of a furnace by a corrosive gas. The material for the bottom tray in the furnace is made of anti-corrosion alloy such as molybdenum and chromium. The furnace also has an oxygen-containing gas pipe for charging the oxygen-containing gas. The oxygen-containing gas is reacted in a high temperature to form a purple oxide alloy film on the surface of the alloy tray.
Abstract:
A gas burner having synchronous ignition and gas supply functions includes a gas storing tank, a gas supply device, a housing, an ignition device, a retaining device, and a burning device. When a press button is pushed, the piezoelectric device is compressed so that a transverse rod is pushed by a push piece to cause a sliding piece and a driven piece to synchronously displace and a shaft spring to retract. The press button enters a wider portion of a lock-shaped hole via a narrower portion. A button spring stretches to cause the press button to be retained in the lock-shaped hole and extend from a piece hole. A gas nozzle is pulled out by a connecting groove for supply of fuel gas via the gas supply device to the burning device. Sparks generated by a lead wire ignites the fuel gas mixture.
Abstract:
A method of fabricating a semiconductor device is described in which an insulation layer is formed over the gate electrode and the substrate. This insulation layer is anisotropically etched away except for a portion surrounding the sidewall of the gate electrode to form a spacer. The tip of the spacer is at the same height as the upper surface of the liner layer and is lower than the upper surface of the gate electrode, therefore, resulting in an increase of the exposed area of the gate electrode surface.
Abstract:
A method of fabricating a MOS transistor. A substrate has a gate formed thereon and a LDD is formed in the substrate beside the gate. A spacer is formed on the sidewall of the gate. A sacrificial layer is formed over the substrate to cover the gate and the spacer. A portion of the sacrificial layer is removed to expose a portion of the spacer. The exposed spacer is removed, such that a portion of the gate sidewall is exposed. The sacrificial layer is removed. A source/drain region is then formed in the substrate beside the spacer.
Abstract:
The invention provides an optical amplifying system having a structure with two amplification levels to amplify received optical signals. The optical amplifying system includes a Michelson interferometer, a preamplifier, and a post amplifier. In the preamplifier and the post-amplifier, respectively have a light pumping source, a wavelength multiplexer, and an optical gain media. The Michelson interferometer includes an optical coupler and an optical grating set composed of a pair of optical gratings. The optical gratings are located different optical passes, and its central wavelength is equal to the intended wavelength. The optical grating can be formed on a piezoelectric substrate or an electrothermal substrate so that the central wavelength can be changed by applying stress or heat. The intended wavelength reflected by the Michelson interferometer can therefore be adjusted. The preamplifier and the post-amplifier are coupled together through the optical coupler of the Michelson interferometer. Furthermore, an isolator can also be coupled between the preamplifier and the Michelson interferometer so as to avoid the backward propagation noise.

A lift-control buckle, which includes a female buckle member and a male buckle member respectively fastened to two distal ends of a belt, and a locking plate pivoted to two upright blocks inside the female buckle for locking the male buckle member after insertion of the male buckle member into a receiving space defined within the male buckle member between the upright blocks, wherein the locking plate has two springy side arms respectively supported on a respective step inside the female buckle member and stopped against the upright blocks for automatically returning the locking plate to the locking position after each unlocking operation.
Abstract:
A foldable suitcase has an upper shell and a retractable support secured to the suitcase for supporting the suitcase at a working position and a folded position. The support is pivotally secured to the suitcase for allowing the support to be folded between an upright position and a lay down position and to be folded toward the suitcase to a compact folding structure. A handle may be fixed to the upper shell or may be extended outward of the upper shell for carrying the suitcase. The support may be folded relative to the suitcase by the actuation of the handle.
Abstract:
An improved connecting mechanism includes a rotary frame, a connecting seat, and a tightening device. The rotary frame is a substantially inverted U-shaped frame having frame wings on both sides provided with symmetrical wing holes. The connecting seat is a substantially curved structure having a front end seat and a rear end seat, the front end seat being disposed between the two frame wings and formed with a through front axial hole in a transverse direction. The front axial hole has two ends each of which is provided with a recess that is further communicated radially with a groove and a sector-like end recess. Springs are fitted into the recesses, respectively, such that a spring end at one end of each of the springs is inserted into the groove, with a spring coil extending from a spring post at the other end passing through one of the end recesses to connect to one of the frame wings. The tightening device includes a shaft passing through the two wing holes, the two springs, and the front axial hole. The shaft is connected to a knob so as to be capable of abutting against or moving away from the frame wings. And when the baffle portions contact the spring posts, the connecting seat is prevented from downward displacement, ensuring that the rear end seat maintains a certain angle.
Abstract:
A plummet level for checking the horizontal state of a surface and locating two vertically spaced points generally required by wood working in most interior decorative works. The plummet level includes a rectangular main body divided into front and rear compartments for balance beam and weight-loaded swing link, respectively, to mount therein on a central pivot shaft. Two long clear windows are separately provided on walls of the main body facing the balance beam and the swing link. A plurality of spaced and parallel check lines horizontally extend a full length of the windows. A user may visually overlap one of the check lines on the windows and a reference level/vertical line on the balance beam/swing link to check a working surface for its horizontal or vertical state. Two extensible links are connected to two ends of the main body with four right-angled corners defined by an end plate of each extensible link always in alignment with four side walls of the main body, so that the plummet level may be easily extended to conveniently locate and mark a horizontally or vertically corresponding point at a distance longer than the main body of the plummet level.
