    摘要: The present invention relates to a pneumatic servo valve, and more particularly, to a pneumatic servo valve, wherein displacement of a spool due to flow force of a fluid is prevented by firmly holding the spool just after position control for the spool is completed, thereby ensuring the stability of a valve system, and an encoder is employed as a spool position detecting means. The pneumatic servo valve comprises a hollow main body with a supply port, a discharge port and an exhaust port; a sleeve which is contained in a hollow portion of the main body and has slots communicating with the respective ports, and a chamber therein; a spool axially slidably installed within the chamber to control the flow of a fluid into the respective ports according to the position thereof; a torque motor installed at one side of the main body to control the position of the spool in response to electrical signals; and a spool position detecting means for compensating positional errors by receiving the fedback position of the spool. The pneumatic servo valve further comprises a spool holding means including a ball nut 60 which is engaged, via a ball, with a helical groove formed on a connection rod of the spool connected to the torque motor and rotates when the spool moves linearly, and an electronic brake for holding the ball nut not to rotate when the spool is stopped.

    摘要: Disclosed are compressor-controlling device and method for an air conditioner comprising a plurality of compressors. In case several compressors selected from the plural compressors are stopped for a long period of time according to cooling or heating load, the refrigerant contained in a higher-pressure state inside of the stopped compressors moves toward a refrigerant pipe of a lower-pressure inlet port, and oil used to operate the compressors leaks toward the inlet port, thus lowering the oil level within the stopped compressors. Since the stopped compressors are operated during a second designated time when stopped time of the stopped compressors exceeds a first designated time, the stopped compressors are protected from damage due to poor lubrication.

    摘要: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for controlling compressors of an air conditioner. The apparatus includes a temperature sensor, a comparison unit, and a controller. The temperature sensor is installed close to an outdoor unit and serves to sense an outdoor temperature. The comparison unit compares the outdoor temperature sensed by the temperature sensor to a predetermined temperature. The controller determines a heating load when the comparison unit determines that the outdoor temperature is more than the predetermined temperature, and controls the operation of the plural compressors based on the determined heating load. The apparatus determines the heating load by means of the outdoor temperature, and properly operates the plural compressors depending the determined heating load, thereby improving the heating efficiency of the air conditioner.

    摘要: An air conditioning system and a method for operating the air conditioning system, in which a plurality of compressors are simultaneously or selectively operated, based on the difference between a room temperature and a desired temperature generated during a waiting time for re-operation of the compressors. The room temperature varying during the waiting time for the re-operation of the compressors maintained at a stopped state is sensed to determine whether or not an increase in cooling load occurs. Based on the amount of the cooling load, it is determined whether the compressors have to operate simultaneously or selectively. That is, the refrigerant compression capacity of the air conditioning system is determined by reflecting the cooling load caused by a variation in room temperature occurring during the waiting time for re-operation taken until any compressor maintained in a stopped state is re-operated. Accordingly, it is possible to more stably control the room temperature, and to achieve an improvement in the comfortableness of the room atmosphere.

    摘要: Disclosed are an apparatus for preventing an overload of an air conditioner and a method thereof. The apparatus includes current feedback units for feeding back the currents supplied to the compressors to the controller where at least one of a plurality of compressors, operated in response to currents generated from a controller for controlling an operation of the air conditioner, is in an overload state; and a comparator for sensing current differences between the currents inputted into the compressors and the currents fed back from the current feedback units. After sensing the current differences between the currents inputted into the compressors and the currents fed back from the current feedback units, the comparator determines that at least one of the compressors is in the overload state if a current difference does not exist. The controller simultaneously stops operations of the compressors, and re-operates the compressors if the overload state is relieved, thereby preventing a continuous overload state of a compressor and hence damage of a compressor.

The LEV aperture ratio is controlled to range from the minimum value to the maximum value, which are determined according to the compressor's capacity and the cooling and heating modes. The LEV aperture ratio is controlled also based on the compressor's operating status, the change of the indoor fan's air volume, and whether or not the indoor fan operates. Such LEV control enables refrigerant to always be circulated at a suitable flow rate, improving the cooling and heating efficiencies, and also prevents liquid refrigerant from flowing into the compressor, securing high reliability of the compressor.
