    摘要: A unitary air conditioner comprises a 1-stage thermostat for generating an operation signal for the unitary air conditioner or a stop signal for the unitary air conditioner, a 1-stage indoor unit having an indoor fan, which is rotated according the operation signal from the 1-stage thermostat, a variable-capacity outdoor unit configured to be operated according to the 1-stage thermostat, the variable-capacity outdoor unit having a compressor and an outdoor fan, the operation stage of which is changed according to the operation state of the variable-capacity outdoor unit, and an indoor fan control device for controlling the indoor fan according to the operation stage of the variable-capacity outdoor unit to change the operation state of the indoor fan. The 1-stage indoor unit is operated along with another unit having different stages, and variable control is accomplished, although the 1-stage indoor unit is used, so long as the indoor fan control device is added to the unitary air conditioner. Consequently, a more efficient air conditioning system is accomplished.

    摘要: A cooling/heating apparatus using a cogeneration system is disclosed. The cooling/heating apparatus includes a discharge-side refrigerant heating unit which supplies heat of exhaust gas generated from an engine to a discharge-side refrigerant line connected to a compressor included in a cooling/heating unit, a suction-side refrigerant heating unit which supplies heat of cooling water used to cool the engine and the heat of the exhaust gas to a suction-side refrigerant line connected to the compressor, a discharge-side refrigerant temperature sensor which senses a temperature of a refrigerant passing through the discharge-side refrigerant line, and a bypass unit which bypasses the exhaust gas heat supplied to the discharge-side refrigerant line via the discharge-side refrigerant heating unit when the refrigerant temperature sensed by the discharge-side refrigerant temperature sensor is not lower than a predetermined temperature, to cut off the supply of the exhaust gas heat or to adjust an amount of the supplied exhaust gas heat. The exhaust gas heat and cooling water heat are appropriately distributed to both the suction and discharge sides of the compressor, so that it is possible to achieve an enhancement in heating performance and an enhancement in system efficiency.

    摘要: A method of preventing rapid on/off of a compressor in a unitary air conditioner comprises the steps of, when a unitary-capacity operation signal is inputted from a thermostat to start an outdoor unit, and a specific operation stage is continued for more than a predetermined period of time after the operation is started, changing the operation stage of the outdoor unit to an operation stage higher than the specific operation stage, and operating the outdoor unit in the changed operation stage, and, when the compressor is stopped according to a signal from the thermostat within a specific period of time after the operation stage is changed to an operation stage higher than the specific operation stage, starting the operation in the specific operation stage at the next operation, and still performing the operation in the specific operation stage although the operation state is continued for more than a predetermined period of time. Consequently, the compressor is prevented from being rapidly turned on/off, and therefore, operational reliability of the compressor is improved, and the service life of the compressor is increased.

    摘要: An air conditioner incorporates valve devices mounted in a plurality of indoor units, respectively, for allowing refrigerant discharged from an outdoor heat exchanger to be introduced into one or more indoor units that are in operation. The refrigerant is prevented from being introduced into the other indoor units that are not in use, and therefore, oil is prevented from being accumulated in the other indoor units that are not in use. Also, an appropriate amount of refrigerant is supplied to the indoor units that are in operation, and therefore, reliability and efficiency of the air conditioner are improved.

    摘要: Disclosed are compressor-controlling device and method for an air conditioner comprising a plurality of compressors. In case several compressors selected from the plural compressors are stopped for a long period of time according to cooling or heating load, the refrigerant contained in a higher-pressure state inside of the stopped compressors moves toward a refrigerant pipe of a lower-pressure inlet port, and oil used to operate the compressors leaks toward the inlet port, thus lowering the oil level within the stopped compressors. Since the stopped compressors are operated during a second designated time when stopped time of the stopped compressors exceeds a first designated time, the stopped compressors are protected from damage due to poor lubrication.

    摘要: An air conditioning system and a method for operating the air conditioning system, in which a plurality of compressors are simultaneously or selectively operated, based on the difference between a room temperature and a desired temperature generated during a waiting time for re-operation of the compressors. The room temperature varying during the waiting time for the re-operation of the compressors maintained at a stopped state is sensed to determine whether or not an increase in cooling load occurs. Based on the amount of the cooling load, it is determined whether the compressors have to operate simultaneously or selectively. That is, the refrigerant compression capacity of the air conditioning system is determined by reflecting the cooling load caused by a variation in room temperature occurring during the waiting time for re-operation taken until any compressor maintained in a stopped state is re-operated. Accordingly, it is possible to more stably control the room temperature, and to achieve an improvement in the comfortableness of the room atmosphere.
