Abstract: The disclosure relates to systems and methods for reducing VCOM settling periods. A number of pixels is sub-divided into a plurality of regions. The pixels are configured to transmit light. A common voltage (VCOM) driving circuit is configured to drive a common electrode of the pixels. Moreover, each of a number of VCOM driving circuits includes a variable resistor configured to be driven to a resistance level based at least in part on which region of the plurality of regions includes an active pixel within the region. Furthermore, a resistance level is set and based at least in part on where the active pixel is located.

Abstract: A system is disclosed. The system can comprise dynamic drive circuitry configured to drive a plurality of electrodes on a touch screen. The system can also comprise a switching circuit configured to selectively couple the dynamic drive circuitry to one or more of the plurality of electrodes. The system can also comprise a display circuitry configured to selectively update a plurality of display pixels on the touch screen. The dynamic drive circuitry can be configured to set its output based on which of the plurality of electrodes are selectively coupled to the first drive circuitry and which of the display pixels are updated by the display circuitry.

Abstract: Methods and devices employing circuitry for dynamically adjusting bandwidth control of a display interface are provided. The display interface or image content is dynamically adjusted to support both high-speed image data (e.g., 120 Hz image data) and lower-speed content (e.g., 60 Hz content). For example, in some embodiments, additional pixel pipelines and/or processing lanes may be activated during the rendering of high-speed image data, but not during the rendering of low-speed image data. Additionally or alternatively, high-speed image data, but not low-speed data, may be compressed to render high-speed content over an interface that supports only low-speed content.
