Abstract: An approach is described for a user equipment (UE), wherein the UE includes radio front end circuitry and processor circuitry coupled to the radio front end circuitry. The processor circuitry receives a reference signal from a source device via a radio link, wherein the reference signal is one of the synchronization signal block (SSB) signal or channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS). The processor circuitry measures a quality of the reference signal, and measures an evaluation time of the reference signal. The processor circuitry determines a first indicator of the radio link based on the quality of the reference signal, and determine a second indicator of the radio link based on the evaluation time of the reference signal. The processor circuitry then determines a status of a connection of the radio link based on the first indicator and the second indicator of the radio link, and generate a message based the status of the connection. The radio front end circuitry then transmits the message to the source device.

Abstract: A method for enhanced autonomous uplink timing adjustment includes determining that a user equipment (UE) is traveling above a predetermined velocity. In response to the determination that the UE is traveling above the predetermined velocity, a maximum aggregate adjustment rate to an uplink timing for the UE and a maximum amount of a magnitude of a timing change to the uplink timing for the UE are determined. The uplink timing for the UE is adjusted based on the maximum aggregate adjustment rate and the maximum amount of the magnitude of the timing change.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus provide for a wireless network to enable multiple-transmission reception point (multi-TRP) uplink (UL) time division multiplexed (TDMed) repetition transmission. The network may receive, from a user equipment (UE), beam measurements of downlink reference signals associated with a plurality of UL transmission beams from the UE to the multi-TRP. Based on criteria associated with the beam measurements received from the UE, the network enables the UE for the multi-TRP UL TDMed repetition transmission using the plurality of UL transmission beams. In addition, or in other scenarios, coordination is provided between the network and the UE to improve UL TDMed repetition transmissions when a UE switches between antenna panels.

A UE determines whether the state of the neighbor cell is known or unknown and whether the neighbor cell's TCI state is known or unknown. Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus is provided for performing testing using arrival of angles (AOA). The system, method, and apparatus can receive a first test signal from a first cell; receive a second test signal from a second cell; and perform a test based on AOA of the first test signal and the second test signal. At least one of the first test signal and the second test signal can include a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) signal or a synchronization signal block (SSB) signal. The first test signal can include a different number of SSBs transmitted during an Measurement Timing Configuration (MTC) window when compared to the second test signal. The system, method, and apparatus can receive the first test signal and the second test signal in a time division multiple access (TDMA) manner. The first cell can include a serving cell and the second cell can include a neighboring cell of the serving cell. The system, method, and apparatus can receive the first test signal using a main lobe of an antenna and the second test signal using a side lobe of the antenna.
