    Abstract: An occlusion device including a first component configured to anchor the occlusion device with respect to a deployment site, and a second component configured to occlude a lumen through the occlusion device. The first component may be in the form of a stent. The second component may be in the form of a stent or in the form of a liner within the first component. The second component includes an occlusion structure configured to extend across (e.g., transverse to the longitudinal axis of) the lumen of the first component. The occlusion structure may be on a retention member of the second component which engages with a retention member of the first component. Additionally or alternatively, the occlusion structure may be a portion of a liner cinched to occlude the lumen through the occlusion device.

    Abstract: An illustrative stent may include a tubular member defined by at least one knitted filament forming a plurality of twisted knit stitches with rungs extending circumferentially between radially adjacent twisted knit stitches, where each twisted knit stitch is interconnected with a longitudinally adjacent twisted knit stitch forming a series of linked stitches. The tubular member may be implanted to connect two spaced apart anatomical locations within the digestive tract, moving between a relaxed configuration and an elongated configuration. The tubular member has a first longitudinal length in the relaxed configuration and a second longitudinal length in the elongated configuration, and the first longitudinal length is less than the second longitudinal length.

    Abstract: An illustrative endoluminal implant having an elongated tubular member. The elongated tubular member having a stent and a retrieval suture interwoven with the stent. The retrieval suture including a first suture loop extending about a circumference of the stent and adjacent to a suture retrieval loop and a second suture loop extending about a circumference of the stent and longitudinally spaced from the first suture loop. The first and second suture loops coupled via one or more interconnecting segments.     Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical devices. In particular, the present disclosure relates to medical devices for facilitating the flow of fluids and materials in and/or between adjacent body lumens, for example, a stent which maintains an open flow passage between body lumens. In one example, a stent may have a constrained configuration and an expanded configuration. In the expanded configuration, the stent may have first and second retention members and saddle region extending therebetween. The saddle region may comprise a coil configured to apply a restoring force to tissue surfaces respectively apposed to the first and second retention members.

    Abstract: An example medical device for treating a body lumen is disclosed. The medical device includes an expandable scaffold including first and second regions, each of the first and second regions include a plurality of interstices located therein. The medical device also includes a covering spanning each of the plurality of interstices of the first region. The second region is free of the covering. A biodegradable gripping material is disposed on an outer surface of the covering. Further, the expandable scaffold is configured to shift from a collapsed state to an expanded state and the second region is configured to contact an inner surface of the body lumen in the expanded state. Additionally, the gripping material is designed to initially prevent migration of the expandable scaffold upon implantation in the body lumen until the second region is secured to the inner surface of the body lumen.
