Abstract: The present application provides a negative electrode active material, a process, a battery, a battery module, a battery pack and an apparatus related to the same. The negative electrode active material comprises a core material and a polymer modified coating on at least a part of a surface of core material; wherein the core material is one or more of a silicon-based negative electrode material and a tin-based negative electrode material; the negative electrode active material has a weight loss rate satisfying 0.2%≤weight loss rate≤2% in a thermogravimetric analysis test wherein temperature is elevated from 25° C. to 800° C. under a non-oxidizing inert gas atmosphere. The present application can reduce damage to the surface structure of the negative electrode active material, reduce loss of active ions and capacity, meanwhile can well improve coulomb efficiency and cycle performance of the battery.

Abstract: This application provides a lithium-ion battery and an apparatus. The lithium-ion battery includes an electrode assembly and an electrolyte. The electrode assembly includes a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and a separator. A positive active material of the positive electrode plate includes Lix1Coy1M1-y1O2-z1Qz1, where 0.5≤x1≤1.2, 0.8≤y1≤1.0, 0≤z1≤0.1, M is selected from one or more of Al, Ti, Zr, Y, and Mg, and Q is selected from one or more of F, Cl, and S. The electrolyte contains an additive A that is a polynitrile six-membered nitrogen-heterocyclic compound with a relatively low oxidation potential. The lithium-ion battery has superb cycle performance and storage performance, especially under high-temperature and high-voltage conditions.

Abstract: Provided are a current collector, an electrode plate, a battery and an application of the current collector. The current collector includes an insulation layer and a conductive layer. The insulation layer is configured to bear the conductive layer, the conductive layer is configured to bear an electrode active material layer. A room temperature film resistance RS of the conductive layer meets a conditional expression: 0.016Ω/□≤RS≤420Ω/□. By the current collector of the present application, the short circuit resistance of the battery in case of an abnormal situation causing the short circuit can be greatly increased, and the short circuit current can be greatly reduced. Thus, influence of the short circuit damage on the battery is limited to a point range, and an interrupt in the current only occurs in a point range, without disrupting normal operation of the battery in a certain period time.
