摘要: A battery cell, a battery, and an electric device are provided. The battery cell includes: a housing having a first wall; a pressure relief mechanism provided on the first wall; an electrode leading-out portion provided on the housing; an electrode assembly provided in the housing and provided with tabs; and an adapter connected to the electrode leading-out portion and the tabs, wherein the adapter is provided with a reinforcing portion, and in the thickness direction of the first wall, the projection of the reinforcing portion on the first wall at least partially covers the pressure relief mechanism.

摘要: A battery pack includes: a plurality of cylindrical battery cells, each one of the plurality of cells having a cylindrical outer cell wall that extends in a z-direction between opposed first and second ends of the cell; a carrier structure that locates the battery cells relative to one another and arranges them in an array in an x-y plane perpendicular to the z-direction; and a plurality of barriers for preventing propagation of thermal runaway between cells of the array, each one of the plurality of barriers forming a barrier wall that surrounds a group of one or more of the cells. A gap is defined between the barrier wall of each respective barrier and the outer cell wall of each of the respective one or more cells enclosed by the respective barrier.

摘要: A battery pack includes at least two battery modules arranged in one direction; and a fire extinguisher having a linear temperature sensor partially extending linearly along the at least two battery modules and configured to sense whether at least one of the at least two battery modules has a temperature over a predetermined temperature, a fire extinguishing tank configured to accommodate a fire extinguishing agent therein, a pipe connected to the fire extinguishing tank to supply the fire extinguishing agent from the fire extinguishing tank to each of the at least two battery modules, and a valve opened to supply the fire extinguishing agent from the fire extinguishing tank to the battery module over the predetermined temperature.

摘要: This application provides a battery, an apparatus, and a manufacturing method and an apparatus of batteries, and relates to the field of energy storage technologies. The battery includes two battery cells and two discharge channels. The two battery cells each include a pressure relief mechanism, and the pressure relief mechanism is configured to be actuated when internal pressure or temperature in the battery cell reaches a threshold, to release the internal pressure. The two discharge channels are configured to collect emissions respectively from the corresponding battery cell when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated.

摘要: The energy storage module of the battery pack is located in the housing, the heat insulation panel is located between the energy storage module and the housing, the heat insulation panel includes a heat insulation layer and an outer packaging layer. The outer packaging layer wraps the outside of the heat insulation layer and compresses a thickness of the elastic heat, insulation layer, and a ventilation channel is formed between the heat insulation panel and the energy storage module. The outer packaging layer is configured to release compression of the elastic heat insulation layer when the energy storage module reaches a thermal runaway temperature, and the heat insulation panel is filled between the housing and the energy storage module, thereby slowing down a speed at which heat passes through a side panel and spreads to the outside of the battery pack along the ventilation channel.

摘要: An battery cell, a battery cell hazard detection system, and a method for detecting a hazardous battery condition at an early stage is provided. An example battery cell may include a battery cell package defining an interior compartment of the battery cell. The battery cell may further include an anode disposed in the interior compartment of the battery cell, a cathode disposed in the interior compartment of the battery cell, and a separator positioned between the anode and the cathode. A chemical coating may be disposed on the surface of the separator, such that, in an instance in which an interior temperature within the interior compartment of the battery cell exceeds a pre-determined maximum operating temperature, the chemical coating may evaporate, forming a chemical coating vapor indicating to a sensing device the hazardous condition of the battery cell.

摘要: Embodiments of the present application provide a box of a battery. The box includes: an electrical chamber configured to accommodate a plurality of battery cells, a battery cell including a pressure relief mechanism, and the pressure relief mechanism being configured to be actuated when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, to relieve the internal pressure; a thermal management component configured to accommodate a fluid to adjust the temperature of the battery cell; and a collection chamber configured to collect emissions discharged from the battery cell when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, where the electrical chamber and the collection chamber are disposed on both sides of the thermal management component, a wall of the collection chamber is provided with a first pressure relief zone, and the first pressure relief zone is configured to relieve the emissions in the collection chamber.

摘要: A cooling device for an electrical energy store, having a heat sink for arranging on one side of a cell assembly formed of energy storage cells of the electrical energy store and for cooling the energy storage cells is provided. The heat sink has openings for aligned arrangement so as to form degassing elements of the energy storage cells. The openings form a degassing duct for a hot gas of the energy storage cells that leaks via the degassing elements. The cooling device has intermediate cooling elements for arranging in clearances of the cell assembly between the energy storage cells in order to compensate for a loss of cooling surface that results from the openings of the heat sink. The intermediate cooling elements are arranged on the heat sink and are designed to dissipate waste heat from the energy storage cells to the heat sink.

Exemplary traction battery packs may include an outer enclosure assembly establishing an interior, and a battery array housed within the interior. A pressure equalization device may be disposed within a wall of the outer enclosure assembly and may be configured to both equalize the pressure inside the battery pack during normal battery operations and to prevent the unintended release of battery vent byproducts during battery thermal events.
