    摘要: Disclosed is a lightning arrester provided for a power transmission line so as to prevent damage to a line-supporting insulator string due to lightning stroke. A lightning arrester unit is fixedly supported on a fitting fixed to an arm structure of a tower in a relation in which its grounded side is electrically insulated from the fitting, and an operation detection device is connected between the grounded side of the lightning arrester unit and the fitting. The operation detection device is in the form of an operation indicator, a flashover indicator and/or an operation recorder. In the event of impartation of a lightning stroke, the operation detection device detects lightning current flowing from the grounded side of the lightning arrester unit toward the fitting.

    摘要: There is disclosed a method of testing and verifying a performance for insulation to ground of a disconnecting switch when breaking a charging current. This disconnecting switch has a movable electrode and a fixed electrode which are arranged in a tank so as to face each other. One of these electrodes is connected to an electrostatic capacity load and the other is connected to a power supply. This test method comprises the steps of: applying a voltage from the power supply through the disconnecting switch to the load to cause the voltage to be trapped in the load; and applying a voltage of the polarity opposite to that of the trapped charged voltage from the power supply to the disconnecting switch to cause the discharge between those electrodes, thereby verifying the performance for insulation to ground.

    摘要: In an enclosed-type zinc-oxide surge arrester with a grounded tank filled with an insulating medium, and a non-linear resistor assemblage which is connected at one end to a high voltage conductor and at the other end to the ground potential portion within the grounded tank, two or more ring-like shield means such as shield rings are disposed on the high voltage conductor side of the non-linear resistor assemblage at given distances. The use of the ring-like shield means makes more uniform the voltages shared by the respective non-linear resistors. The ring-like shield means may be formed with the configuration and diameter, and the number of them used being properly selected.

    摘要: A lightning current responsive alarm device in which an earthed discharge current circuit consisting of a parallel combination of a non-linear resistor and an inductive impedance element is connected between a protective coordination gap in a power transmission system and earth. In the device, a capacitor is charged up with the drop voltage appearing across the nonlinear resistor, and a sensor or counter is actuated by the discharge current of the capacitor, so that the device can operate with a greatly widened operating range which covers a large current region of lightning current.
