    摘要: A control method and system for a belt-driven clothes dryer are disclosed. The control system includes a drum containing a load of wet clothes to be dried, a heater heating air flowing into the drum, a motor coupled to the drum by a power transmission system for rotating the drum, and a power supply supplying power to the motor and the heater during a dry operation of the dryer. The control system further includes a moisture sensor outputting a sensor signal during the dry operation, or a photo coupler outputting voltage pulses when the motor is in operation during the dry operation. Then, a microprocessor included in the control system detects a breakage of the power transmission system upon analyzing the sensor signal of the moisture sensor or the voltage pulses generated by the photo coupler. If the microprocessor detects such breakage, it interrupts the dry operation of the clothes dryer.

    摘要: A fast-melting pharmaceutical tablet comprises a porous, plastic substance, a water penetration enhancer and a binder. One or more drugs can be incorporated into the formulation at different stages of the process so as to afford a pharmaceutically active tablet. Methods of making the pharmaceutical tablet entail combining the porous, plastic material, the water penetration enhancing agent, and the binder so as to form highly plastic granules, which are compressed into tablets. The resulting tablets dissolve rapidly in the mouth and have good hardness with low brittleness. The tablets are particularly valuable to those who have difficulty swallowing conventional pills.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method of forming a copper wiring in a semiconductor device. A copper wiring is formed within a damascene pattern. Before a copper anti-diffusion insulating film is formed on the entire structure, a specific metal element is doped into the surface of the copper wiring and the surface of its surrounding insulating film to form a metal element-doping layer. The doped specific metal element reacts with surrounding other elements, due to heat upon depositing the copper anti-diffusion insulating film and a low dielectric constant interlayer insulating film and additional annealing process. For this reason, a copper alloy layer and a metal oxide layer are stacked at the interface of the copper wiring and the copper anti-diffusion insulating film and the metal oxide layer is formed at the interface of the insulating film and the copper anti-diffusion insulating film. The interfacial bondability between the copper anti-diffusion insulating film and each of the copper wiring and the insulating film underlying the insulating film is increased to improve reliability of the wiring.

    摘要: A self-aligned bipolar transistor and a method of formation thereof are provided. The bipolar transistor has an emitter region characterized by a y-shaped structure formed from bilayer polysilicon. The bilayer polysilicon includes a first polysilicon emitter structure and a second polysilicon emitter structure. The method of forming the bipolar transistor includes forming an emitter stack on a substrate. The emitter stack comprises the first polysilicon emitter structure and a plug structure. The emitter stack defines the substrate into a masked portion and exposed adjacent portions. The exposed adjacent portions are selectively doped with a dopant to define an extrinsic base region, wherein the dopant is blocked from entering the masked portion. After selectively doping the extrinsic base region, the plug structure is removed from the emitter stack and the second polysilicon emitter structure is formed on the first polysilicon emitter structure to define the emitter region of the bipolar transistor.
